Educational Field Trip of Mahabodh Scholars to Shrikrishna Science Centre, Patna, and Takht Sri Patna Sahib GurudwaraMahaBodh Foundation organized its first Educational FieldTrip on 12 April 2026, during which 100 Anantya Girl Scholars and their parentsvisited the Shrikrishna Science Centre and Takht Sri Patna Sahib Gurudwara inPatna. The trip began with two buses carrying the Mahabodh Scholars,their parents, Foundation officials, and members of the Inner Wheel Club of Bodh Gaya. The group was flagged off by the CEO of Mahabodh Foundation. The team reached the Shrikrishna Science Centre at 12:30 PM, where they were warmly welcomed by Shri Harsh Tiwari, Educational Officer at the Centre. The students explored various sections of the Centre, including the planetarium, where engaging shows provided them with a fascinating understanding of Earth and space. They also enjoyed demonstrations of science experiments and chemical reaction–based “magic shows,” which deepened their curiosity and enthusiasm fors cience. After the Science Centre visit, the group proceeded to Takht Sri Patna Sahib Gurudwara, where they were cordially received by Shri Banti Singh, Member of the Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee. He guided the students through the Gurudwara premises and shared its historical significance. The group was served Langar Prasad, which the scholars greatly appreciated. They also learned about the historic Mangla Pond, recently redeveloped near the Gurudwara. The trip concluded with a visit to the Ganga Ghat, where the scholars had the memorable experience of touching the holy water of the Ganga—a long-held wish for many of them. The scholars and their parents remained excited and joyful throughout the trip. The visit provided a valuable opportunity for meaningful interaction in an informal setting while connecting academic concepts to real-life environments.MahaBodh Foundation expresses deep gratitude to Ministry of Culture, Mr. Sreenu Appikonda, Director, Shrikrishna Science Centre; Shri Harsh Tiwari, Educational Officer; Sardar Bhupinder Singh and Shri Banti Singh from the Managing Committee of Patna Sahib Gurudwara; and Mr. Zeeshan Khan and Ms. Rubina Singh, Directors of M/sHaywood Space Renoveters Pvt. EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIP OF MAHABODH SCHOLARS

This year’s first educational field trip is being organised by Mahabodh Foundation for 100 Mahabodh Scholars and their parents to Patna on 12 April, 2026. During the trip the group will visit Shrikrishna Science Centre, Patna Sahib Gurudwara and will have a Patna City Tour This is being organised in collaboration with Shrikrishna Science Centre, Ministry of Culture and Innerwheel Club of Bodh Gaya. ANANTYA SCHOLARSHIP 2026 — RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT
अनन्त्या छात्रवृत्ति 2026 — परिणाम घोषणा

Team Mahabodh Foundation is delighted to announce the results of the Anantya Scholarship Selection Program for the 2026 batch. Guided by our core mission of empowering the girl child through education, the Foundation has been committed to selecting 25 deserving girls from the state of Bihar every year.

Since 2014, Mahabodh Foundation has been supporting underprivileged young girls from economically challenged families by offering financial assistance from Class 9 to Class 12 under the Anantya Scholarship Program. Alongside financial support, the Foundation actively mentors students and their parents to help them understand the crucial role of education in the holistic development of girls.

To date, Mahabodh Foundation has supported 311 girls, most of whom have successfully completed their Class 12 education. Many have graduated with Honours degrees in Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, and Commerce. A significant number are pursuing postgraduate programs such as MBA, Chemistry, and Physics. Our scholars have gone on to become teachers, nurses, social workers, and graduates preparing for competitive examinations including BPSC and other government services. Some are preparing for medical entrance exams, while others are competing to be in the Bihar Police and Bihar Regiment.

We take pride in highlighting the journey of our first Mahabodh Scholar, who completed her Graduation and is now pursuing a Master’s degree in Chemistry. She also underwent mobile engineering training at Samsung Company, Kolkata, and today serves as an active office bearer of the Mahabodh Foundation.

For the 2026 selection cycle, the Foundation received over 200 applications from Class 8 students across Gaya, Guraru, and Tekari districts. After screening applications based on our eligibility criteria, 171 applicants from 26 schools qualified for the preliminary round. These students appeared for interviews and written assessments. Based on their performance, 57 students were shortlisted for the Finalist Selection Day, where they were further evaluated on their basic knowledge and understanding. Ultimately, 25 students from 19 schools across the three districts have been selected as Mahabodh Scholars for the 2026–30 academic cycle.

With this new cohort, the total number of girls supported by the Foundation rises to 336—a humble yet determined contribution towards the national missions of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao and Women Empowerment.

टीम महाबोध फ़ाउंडेशन को यह बताते हुए बहुत खुशी हो रही है कि अनन्त्या छात्रवृत्ति चयन कार्यक्रम (बैच 2026) के परिणाम घोषित कर दिए गए हैं। शिक्षा के माध्यम से बालिकाओं को सशक्त बनाने के अपने प्रमुख मिशन के तहत, फ़ाउंडेशन हर साल बिहार राज्य की 25 योग्य लड़कियों का चयन करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।

साल 2014 से महाबोध फ़ाउंडेशन आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर परिवारों की प्रतिभाशाली लड़कियों को कक्षा 9 से 12 तक अनन्त्या छात्रवृत्ति कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान कर रहा है। वित्तीय सहायता के साथ-साथ, फ़ाउंडेशन छात्राओं और उनके अभिभावकों को भी यह समझाने के लिए मार्गदर्शन देता है कि लड़कियों के सम्पूर्ण विकास में शिक्षा कितनी महत्वपूर्ण है।

अब तक महाबोध फ़ाउंडेशन 311 लड़कियों की सहायता कर चुका है। इनमें से अधिकांश ने सफलतापूर्वक कक्षा 12 पूरी कर ली है। कई छात्राओं ने भौतिकी, रसायनशास्त्र, प्राणीशास्त्र, वनस्पति विज्ञान और वाणिज्य में ऑनर्स की डिग्री प्राप्त की है। कई छात्राएं एमबीए, रसायनशास्त्र और भौतिकी जैसे विषयों में स्नातकोत्तर कर रही हैं। हमारी कुछ छात्राएं शिक्षक, नर्स, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता बनी हैं, और कई छात्राएं बीपीएससी तथा अन्य सरकारी परीक्षाओं की तैयारी कर रही हैं। कुछ मेडिकल प्रवेश परीक्षाओं की तैयारी में हैं, जबकि कुछ बिहार पुलिस और बिहार रेजिमेंट में शामिल होने की तैयारी कर रही हैं।

हम अपनी पहली महाबोध स्कॉलर पर विशेष गर्व करते हैं, जिन्होंने केमिस्ट्री ऑनर्स में स्नातक पूरा किया और अब रसायनशास्त्र में स्नातकोत्तर कर रही हैं। उन्होंने सैमसंग कंपनी, कोलकाता से मोबाइल इंजीनियरिंग का प्रशिक्षण भी पूरा किया है और वर्तमान में महाबोध फ़ाउंडेशन की सक्रिय पदाधिकारी हैं।

अनन्त्या छात्रवृत्ति 2026 के लिए, फ़ाउंडेशन को गया, गुरारू और टेकारी ज़िले के कक्षा 8 के छात्रों से 200 से अधिक आवेदन प्राप्त हुए। पात्रता मानकों के आधार पर जाँच के बाद, 26 स्कूलों के 171 छात्र प्रारंभिक चरण के लिए चुने गए। इन छात्रों का साक्षात्कार और लिखित परीक्षा के माध्यम से मूल्यांकन किया गया। प्रदर्शन के आधार पर, 57 छात्र फ़ाइनलिस्ट चयन दिवस के लिए चुने गए, जहाँ उनकी बुनियादी जानकारी और समझ का पुनः परीक्षण किया गया। अंततः, तीनों ज़िलों के 19 स्कूलों की 25 छात्राएँ अनन्त्या स्कॉलर के रूप में 2026–30 शैक्षणिक सत्र के लिए चयनित की गईं।

इन नई छात्राओं के चयन के साथ, फ़ाउंडेशन द्वारा समर्थित लड़कियों की कुल संख्या बढ़कर 336 हो गई है—जो बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ और महिला सशक्तिकरण अभियानों की दिशा में हमारा एक छोटा लेकिन दृढ़ कदम है।

PRESS RELEASE FOR ANANTYA SCHOLARS 2026-2030 FINALIST SELECTION EVENT (28 December 2025)

Mahabodh Foundation held its 12th Annual Anantya Scholars Finalist Selection Event at the premises of Jean Amitabh Welfare School, Rati Bigha, Bodh Gaya bringing together educators, patrons, and community leaders committed to advancing girl child’s education.

Every year, Mahabodh Foundation selects 25 meritorious girls from underprivileged and economically challenged families and provides mentoring and full academic scholarships covering books, uniforms, transportation, and school fees for four years of high school education (Class 9 to 12). All selected scholars are first-generation high school learners in their families. The Selection process this year was held under the supervision of Mrs. Pushpa Kumar, a Retired Foreign Service Officer and CEO of MahaBodh Foundation.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Prof. Kusum Kumari, Former Vice Chancellor, Magadh University. The Guests of Honor included Dr. Asif Iqbal, Deputy Director, Patna Regional Centre, IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University); Mr. Anand Vikram, Chairman, Jean Amitabh Welfare Trust; Dr. Veena Pathak, President, Innerwheel Club of Bodh Gaya and Ms. Manorma Sihna, Principal, Middle School, Bagdaha.

During the event a ‘Seminar on Carrier Planning through IGNOU programs’ was conducted by Dr. Asif Iqbal , Deputy Director from Patna Regional Center of IGNOU in which he gave an insight on IGNOU carrier oriented courses to be taken after the completion of high school. The Patrons Dr. Binod K Verma and Dr. Prabodh K. Verma spoke on preventive healthcare program ‘MahaCure’ being run by the Foundation in Guraru, Gaya and Bodh Gaya.

The selection process for the current Anantya Scholars cohort was announced through press releases, social media, and formal letters to principals of middle schools across Gaya district on 07 October 2025. More than 200 applications were received from different villages across the district. The preliminary interview committees consisting of Team MahaBodh, Volunteers and members of Innerwheel /Club of Gaya City and Bodh Gaya conducted interviews at Bodh Gaya (on 30 Nov 2025), Guraru (on 17 Dec 2025) and Tekari (on 14 Dec 2025) and shortlisted 57 applicants- who attended the event today with their parents. The shortlisted candidates were further evaluated through personal interaction and a written assessment conducted jointly with Innerwheel Club members for the selection of final 25 winners of scholarship- the list of which will be shared soon.

With the inclusion of 25 new scholars the total count of scholars receiving support from MahaBodh Foundation under it’s ‘Anantya Scholarship program’ will be 336. Twenty Five scholars who were granted scholarship in 2022 will complete their high school education and four years term of scholarship in March 2026. All these students are going to colleges for higher education after completing their high school.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Kusum Kumari highlighted the transformative role of education in empowering girls and appreciated Mahabodh Foundation’s sustained grassroots impact in the region. Representatives from Innerwheel Club and Techinfy Solutions and Jean Amitabh Welfare Trust reaffirmed their commitment to continue collaboration with the Foundation in all future initiatives.

Addressing the gatherings, Dr. Anupam Kumar, Founder and Chairman of Mahabodh Foundation said that during last 11 years of service the Foundation has made a very effective services to the community in the field of girl child education and preventive health care education. He conveyed deep gratitude to all patrons, donors, volunteers, mentors and school principals for their valuable support. Sincere thanks were also extended to Dr. Iqbal of IGNOU for collaborating on career seminar and to Mr. Hans Raj, Chairman, & Team-Techinfy solutions for providing the logistics and refreshments for the event and to Jean Amitabh Welfare Trust for providing the venue. महाबोध फाउंडेशन ने बालिका शिक्षा को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध शिक्षाविदों, संरक्षकों और सामुदायिक नेताओं की उपस्थिति में जीन अमिताभ वेलफेयर स्कूल, रती बिगहा, बोधगया के परिसर में अपना 12वाँ वार्षिक अनंत्य स्कॉलर्स फाइनलिस्ट चयन कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया।

हर वर्ष महाबोध फाउंडेशन वंचित एवं आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर परिवारों की 25 मेधावी बालिकाओं का चयन करता है और उन्हें मेंटरशिप के साथ पूर्ण शैक्षणिक छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान करता है, जिसमें पुस्तकों, यूनिफॉर्म, परिवहन तथा विद्यालय शुल्क का खर्च शामिल होता है। यह छात्रवृत्ति उच्च विद्यालय शिक्षा (कक्षा 9 से 12) के चार वर्षों के लिए दी जाती है। चयनित सभी छात्राएं अपने परिवारों में पहली पीढ़ी की उच्च विद्यालय शिक्षार्थी होती हैं। इस वर्ष चयन प्रक्रिया महाबोध फाउंडेशन की सीईओ एवं सेवानिवृत्त विदेश सेवा अधिकारी श्रीमती पुष्पा कुमार की देखरेख में संपन्न हुई।

इस कार्यक्रम की मुख्य अतिथि प्रो. कुसुम कुमारी, पूर्व कुलपति, मगध विश्वविद्यालय रहीं। विशिष्ट अतिथियों में डॉ. आसिफ इक़बाल, उप निदेशक, पटना क्षेत्रीय केंद्र, इग्नू (इंदिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय मुक्त विश्वविद्यालय); श्री आनंद विक्रम, अध्यक्ष, जीन अमिताभ वेलफेयर ट्रस्ट; डॉ. वीणा पाठक, अध्यक्ष, इनरव्हील क्लब, बोधगया तथा सुश्री मनोरमा सिन्हा, प्रधानाध्यापिका, मिडिल स्कूल, बगदाहा शामिल थीं।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान डॉ. आसिफ इक़बाल, उप निदेशक, इग्नू, पटना क्षेत्रीय केंद्र द्वारा “इग्नू कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से करियर नियोजन” विषय पर एक सेमिनार आयोजित किया गया, जिसमें उन्होंने उच्च विद्यालय की पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद अपनाए जा सकने वाले इग्नू के करियर उन्मुख पाठ्यक्रमों की जानकारी दी। फाउंडेशन के संरक्षक डॉ. बिनोद कुमार वर्मा और डॉ. प्रबोध कुमार वर्मा ने गुरारू, गया और बोधगया में फाउंडेशन द्वारा संचालित निवारक स्वास्थ्य सेवा कार्यक्रम ‘महा क्योर (MahaCure)’ पर अपने विचार साझा किए।

वर्तमान अनंत्य स्कॉलर्स समूह के चयन की घोषणा 07 अक्टूबर 2025 को प्रेस विज्ञप्तियों, सोशल मीडिया और गया जिले के विभिन्न मिडिल स्कूलों के प्रधानाचार्यों को औपचारिक पत्रों के माध्यम से की गई। जिले के विभिन्न गांवों से 200 से अधिक आवेदन प्राप्त हुए। महाबोध टीम, स्वयंसेवकों तथा गया शहर और बोधगया के इनरव्हील क्लब के सदस्यों से बनी प्रारंभिक साक्षात्कार समितियों ने बोधगया (30 नवंबर 2025), गुरारू (17 दिसंबर 2025) और टेकारी (14 दिसंबर 2025) में साक्षात्कार आयोजित किए और 57 अभ्यर्थियों को शॉर्टलिस्ट किया, जो आज अपने अभिभावकों के साथ इस कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित रहे। शॉर्टलिस्ट किए गए अभ्यर्थियों का आगे व्यक्तिगत संवाद और लिखित मूल्यांकन के माध्यम से (इनरव्हील क्लब के सदस्यों के साथ संयुक्त रूप से) आकलन किया गया, जिसके आधार पर अंतिम 25 छात्रवृत्ति विजेताओं का चयन किया गया। इन विजेताओं की सूची शीघ्र साझा की जाएगी।

25 नए स्कॉलर्स के जुड़ने से महाबोध फाउंडेशन के ‘अनंत्य छात्रवृत्ति कार्यक्रम’ के अंतर्गत सहयोग प्राप्त करने वाले कुल स्कॉलर्स की संख्या 336 हो जाएगी। वर्ष 2022 में छात्रवृत्ति प्राप्त करने वाले 25 स्कॉलर्स मार्च 2026 में अपनी उच्च विद्यालय शिक्षा तथा चार वर्षीय छात्रवृत्ति अवधि पूर्ण करेंगे। ये सभी छात्र उच्च विद्यालय की पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद उच्च शिक्षा के लिए कॉलेजों में प्रवेश लेंगे।

इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए प्रो. कुसुम कुमारी ने बालिकाओं को सशक्त बनाने में शिक्षा की परिवर्तनकारी भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला और क्षेत्र में महाबोध फाउंडेशन के निरंतर जमीनी प्रभाव की सराहना की। इनरव्हील क्लब, टेकइन्फी सॉल्यूशंस तथा जीन अमिताभ वेलफेयर ट्रस्ट के प्रतिनिधियों ने भविष्य की सभी पहलों में फाउंडेशन के साथ सहयोग जारी रखने की अपनी प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई।

सभा को संबोधित करते हुए महाबोध फाउंडेशन के संस्थापक एवं अध्यक्ष डॉ. अनुपम कुमार ने कहा कि पिछले 11 वर्षों की सेवा अवधि में फाउंडेशन ने बालिका शिक्षा और निवारक स्वास्थ्य देखभाल शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में समुदाय के लिए अत्यंत प्रभावी सेवाएँ प्रदान की हैं। उन्होंने सभी संरक्षकों, दाताओं, स्वयंसेवकों, मेंटर्स और विद्यालय प्रधानाचार्यों के अमूल्य सहयोग के लिए गहरी कृतज्ञता व्यक्त की। करियर सेमिनार में सहयोग के लिए इग्नू के डॉ. इक़बाल, कार्यक्रम हेतु लॉजिस्टिक्स और जलपान की व्यवस्था करने के लिए श्री हंसराज, अध्यक्ष, एवं टीम–टेकइन्फी सॉल्यूशंस तथा कार्यक्रम स्थल उपलब्ध कराने के लिए जीन अमिताभ वेलफेयर ट्रस्ट के प्रति भी हार्दिक धन्यवाद प्रकट किया गया। मगध विश्वविद्यालय की पीएचडी छात्रा सुश्री निशा कुमारी ने कार्यक्रम का संचालन किया।

On Sunday, December 21, 2025, Team MahaBodh held its final round of preliminary interviews and testing for the 2025 Anantya Scholars program. The program was conducted in collaboration with the InnerWheel Club of Bodh Gaya.

Nearly 200 applications have been received overall for the Anantya Scholars program!

Team MahaBodh is looking forward to selecting our next batch of 25 Anantya Scholars, and expresses its gratitude to the Innerwheel Club team for their time and mentorship throughout this process.

As part of the selection process for Anantya Scholars – 2026, Team MahaBodh reached out to schools across the Gaya region to invite applications 📄✨

🤝 30 November 2025: With the support of the Inner Wheel Club of Bodh Gaya, applications from the Bodh Gaya & Gaya area were reviewed and candidates were interviewed in-person.

🎤 07 December 2025: We met applicants in Guraru, with interviews guided by our patron and mentor Dr. Binod K. Verma.

🎤 14 December 2025: Applicants from Tekari were interviewed under the guidance of our patron and mentor Dr. Prabodh K. Verma.

📊 In total, 170 applications were received across all areas, reflecting the aspirations of many young girls eager to continue their education beyond middle school.

🙏 We are deeply grateful to all mentors, partners, and volunteers who supported this important step in identifying the next cohort of Anantya Scholars.
