AADA and Assam Don Bosco University Formalize Strategic Partnership

The Assam AVGC-XR Development Association (AADA) is proud to announce the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of English, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Assam Don Bosco University. This partnership establishes a five-year framework dedicated to strengthening the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) ecosystem in the North Eastern Region.

The agreement was signed in Guwahati by the following representatives:

Signing Authority: Dr. Ramesh Sharma (Head of the Department)
Nodal Officer: Dr. Pritam Priya Goswami (Assistant Professor)
Witness: Dr. Smita Devi (Assistant Professor)

From Assam AVGC-XR Development Association (AADA):

Signing Authority: Mr. Ankit Dey (President)
Nodal Officer: Mr. Priyam Chakraborty (Joint Secretary)
Witness: Mr. Paritosh Nandalal Dixit (Joint Secretary)

AADA representatives Mahjub Ahmed (Head of Social Media) and Ajit Singh (Member) were also in attendance to mark this significant milestone.

This collaboration reinforces AADA’s mission to act as a nodal body for AVGC-XR development, ensuring that academic excellence meets industry innovation to empower the next generation of creative professionals in Assam.

The team discussed several strategic and future-focused initiatives aimed at strengthening the AVGC-XR ecosystem in Assam for FY 2026–27.

A two-day priority event scheduled for late May 2026 to promote awareness of Filmmaking and Animation.

Planned for July/August 2026.

4. Assam Young Creators School League -
An inter-school grassroots initiative to nurture young creative talent.
