# WE CAN’s flood relief to the flood-affected people of Sivasagar*
On 6th August, WE CAN, one of the leading voluntary organizations of Dhémaji district, Machkhowa, organized a flood relief distribution program in the Amguri area of Sivasagar.
As part of the program, in Shantiban locality of Amguri, Sivasagar, 5 bundles of tin sheets were distributed to 18 families who had become homeless due to severe flooding, to help them rebuild their homes.
Additionally, in areas like Sumoni Bari and Jaji, relief materials were distributed to 100 flood-affected families. The items include100 buckets, phenyl, surf, soap, bleaching powder, Colgate, mosquito-repellent dhoop, purified drinking water, and some food items.
Several members of AIDS Club, Machkhowa extended their support and cooperation for this program. Many compassionate people of Machkhowa also provided financial and physical assistance....
