So, We the members of Leo Club of Guwahati Alpine Jointly with our Parent Club Lions Club of Guwahati Alpine conducted our First Service Activity - Swachata Ki Aur: A River Bank Cleaning Initiative, whereby we cleaned the River Bank side of the mighty Brahmaputra at Lachit Ferry Ghat on 4th of December, 2022.

This Project was headed by one of our ever enthusiastic Leo Member, Leo Rahul Nayak under whose Initiative we were able to collect 17 bags of Garbages which includes plastic and other such wastes and disposed it off.

We were fortunate that we had our Regional Chairperson, Leo Lion Aditya Agarwala who was present with us as well as a member from Leo Club of Guwahati South, Leo Manob Sarkar which marked a great success for our first Initiative.

With such great achievement, we decided to have this Activity as our First Signature Activity of which the Permanent Project Chairperson would be Leo Rahul Nayak, Board of Director and Chairman of Environmental Activities, Leo Club of Guwahati Alpine as directed by Charter President, Leo Abhinaba Purkayastha.

We call upon the Leos and Lions of our District and Invite them to join our Signature Activity together as we conduct this every activity on one of the Sunday's of every month, because without your help and efforts the maintenance of our River Bank side cannot be achieved with good heart and success.

So, We the members of Leo Club of Guwahati Alpine Jointly with our Parent Club Lions Club of Guwahati Alpine conducted our First Service Activity - Swachata Ki Aur: A River Bank Cleaning Initiative, whereby we cleaned the River Bank side of the mighty Brahmaputra at Lachit Ferry Ghat on 4th of December, 2022.

This Project was headed by one of our ever enthusiastic Leo Member, Leo Rahul Nayak under whose Initiative we were able to collect 17 bags of Garbages which includes plastic and other such wastes and disposed it off.

We were fortunate that we had our Regional Chairperson, Leo Lion Aditya Agarwala who was present with us as well as a member from Leo Club of Guwahati South, Leo Manob Sarkar which marked a great success for our first Initiative.

With such great achievement, we decided to have this Activity as our First Signature Activity of which the Permanent Project Chairperson would be Leo Rahul Nayak, Board of Director and Chairman of Environmental Activities, Leo Club of Guwahati Alpine as directed by Charter President, Leo Abhinaba Purkayastha.

We call upon the Leos and Lions of our District and Invite them to join our Signature Activity together as we conduct this every activity on one of the Sunday's of every month, because without your help and efforts the maintenance of our River Bank side cannot be achieved with good heart and success.
