Tomorrow on World Environment Day, we are at Chorten Deorali for The Himalayan Cleanup 2026 to Reflect Switch and Demand.

We are happy to have the support of Swachha Bharat Mission (Urban) and their collaboration for the event.

Students from Deorali Girl's School, monks from Guru Lhakhang Deorali, members of ECOSS and many others are volunteering along with Zero Waste Himalaya and IMI team.

Join us as The Himalayan Cleanup culminates in Gangtok for 2026.

Let's keep raising our voices against plastic pollution.

👶🍼New Greenpeace International research found microplastics in baby food sold in plastic pouches by Nestlé's Ge**er and Danone's Happy Baby Organics brands.

The solution isn't better recycling. It's less plastic, safer packaging, stronger regulations, and reuse systems that put health first.

Babies deserve food,not plastic.

🩸 It's World Menstrual Health Day. And we have to talk about the plastics and toxins in our disposable pads.

🩸 We have been constantly told to choose these disposable plastic pads over reusable options in the name of convenience. What they never mention is the toxic chemicals that go into making these pads. Toxins that are proven to be cancer causing and endocrine disruptors that wreak havoc on our bodies.

🩸 Post use, sanitary napkins are a huge burden for waste managers as these have no solutions. No company has ever taken this into account. They are just happy pocketing the profit by making us unhealthy and our planet polluted.

🩸 Let us rise and resist these false claims. Let us switch to sustainable solutions that are reusable, body and planet friendly.

🩸 For all this to happen, we need to break the silence around periods., and normalise menstruation 🩸

Here is of .sikkim featured in the Zero Waste Calender with a little behind the scenes of the shoot on how she began her journey as a sustainable menstruator..

Have you made the switch to reusable periods products?
