Hate will summon war and crime !!

The unity that we have ..
Should be able to keep us connected from body to our souls ..

For the greed and fame
Post and money
Rich or poor
Is never a matter of family/society
at all "

Khaptari Basnet's of Sikkim is all set to organize its ancestral ritual ceremony "Kul Puja" on 13th of May 2014 at Yangang South Sikkim. Puja will be performed in collaboration efforts of all Khaptari Basnet family of Sikkim.

Robin Basnet of Green Escape Travels will be representing Sikkim at the World Travel Market 2013, scheduled to be held in London from 4-7 November.

Robin, who is from Yangang, South Sikkim, completed his schooling from St. Xaviers School, Pakyong and holds a Masters degree in International Tourism and Hospitality from the prestigious South Bank University, London.

He is currently employed as the Operations Executive at American Express Vacations and has had over 10 years of experience in the Hospitality sector.

With Sikkim topping Lonely Planet’s “Best in Travel 2014-Top 10 regions”, Robin is excited about promoting the State in WTM.

Our Glacier Girl Smriti Basnett got the best poster presentation under "Science and Impact" category for her research titled "Influence of supra and moraine-dammed lakes on the glacier retreat in Sikkim Himalaya", at the Fourth National Research Conference on Climate Change, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, October 26-27, 2013.
