The 5-Day Residential Training on LOKOS Transaction, conducted from 18th May to 22nd May 2026 at SICUN, concluded successfully today with active participation from all 34 SRLM Blocks across the State.

The training programme focused on strengthening the operational understanding and practical implementation of the LOKOS system among block-level functionaries and community cadres.

The sessions during the 1st and 2nd day primarily focused on Self Help Groups (SHGs) cut-off explanation, filling up of real-time and updated data up to 31st March 2026, followed by hands-on practical sessions and live system entry. During the training, participants uploaded data directly into the live LOKOS server, and the same was successfully reflected in the report section of the system.

Similarly, the sessions on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th day focused on Ward Development Society (WDS) and Block Development Society (BDS) cut-offs along with transaction entry into the live system. The programme provided extensive practical exposure to participants for smooth and effective implementation of LOKOS transactions at the grassroots level.

The valedictory session was marked by an inspiring address delivered by the Hon’ble CEO, R.B. Bhandari, who emphasized the importance of timely and accurate transaction management for strengthening SHG institutions and ensuring financial transparency under the Rural Livelihood Mission.

During the closing ceremony, the Resource Persons, Hriday Bharadwaj- Mission Manager NIRD Guwahati and Shubham Singh-Lokos Executive NMMU Delhi were felicitated for their valuable contribution and successful facilitation of the training programme.

The training programme was actively supported and coordinated by the MIS & FI State Team comprising Chhitiz Sundas - Project Manager (MIS) , Nabin Tamang Assistant Project Manager (MIS) and Abhishek Chettri Assistant Project Manager (FI)

The programme was attended by LOKOS Nodal BPMs, APMs, MISOs, and LOKOS e-Book Keepers from all 34 SRLM Blocks, ensuring statewide participation and capacity building.

The training concluded with an evaluation test, and the top six e-Book Keepers (SHG members) from the field, who secured the highest scores, were felicitated by the CEO. These top performers will later serve as District-wise Master Trainers and will further conduct training programmes at the block level.

The programme concluded with a collective commitment from all participants towards timely updating of transactions and effective implementation of the LOKOS system across all levels.
