Rescue on the way

EMERGENCY RESCUE / TRANSPORT APPEAL: KHAMDONG TO GANGTOK

A stray dog at 10th Mile, Khamdong has suffered a severe eye rupture and requires immediate veterinary attention.

I am currently out of station, and because there is no official government dispatch system to rescue and transport stray animals, we urgently need a volunteer or caring citizen nearby to step in.

Current Location: 10th Mile, Khamdong
Destination: SARAH, Deorali, Gangtok (for urgent admission and medical care)
Status: The local informant is unable to transport the dog due to work constraints, but will guide anyone willing to pick up the animal.

If you are around the Khamdong/Singtam route or have transport access, please step forward to help shift this dog to the Deorali clinic. Every hour counts for an open eye trauma.

Let’s spread awareness: if everyone feeds and treats neighborhood dogs kindly, we wouldn’t even need shelters.
