RAVANGLA, May 3, 2026 — The International Denjong Monlam Chenmo 2026 reached its grand and moving conclusion today at Tathagata Tsal, under the compassionate guidance of Venerable Sangter Tulku Rinpoche. The final day was a tapestry of profound gratitude and ancient liturgy, drawing a vast assembly of devotees to the serene heights of South Sikkim.
The day was graced by the esteemed presence of the Royal Crown Prince of Sikkim, Palden Gyurmed Namgyal, and Princess Hope Leezum Namgyal, who were warmly welcomed to the event. The royal siblings joined Venerable Sangter Tulku Rinpoche for a private lunch, further highlighting the deep-rooted connection between the spiritual and cultural heritage of the region. In a gesture of appreciation, Tseten Bhutia (O.S.D) and Sonam G. Bhutia (T.O) thanked the royal siblings for their presence by presenting them with a beautifully framed picture of Tathagata Tsal.
The spiritual energy reached its ultimate peak during the concluding Marme Monlam (Lamp Prayer), which was beautifully performed by the Nyamo Amas of Ralong and Mani Chokhorling Gumpa. As the evening settled behind the towering Buddha statue, hundreds of butter lamps were lit, transforming the courtyard into a shimmering sea of gold. A profound silence fell over the crowd, broken only by the hauntingly beautiful unison of the Konchok Sum Gi Yang. As the voices rose in a final, powerful crescendo of aspiration, a tangible wave of energy swept through the congregation—a true "goosebumps" moment of pure transcendence that left many in tears.
As the three-day event drew to a close, Venerable Sangter Tulku Rinpoche expressed his deep and sincere gratitude to all who contributed to this spiritual milestone. He offered a special and profound mention of thanks to the Leong family for their unconditional support, which served as a vital pillar for the event. Rinpoche further extended his heartfelt appreciation to O.S.D Tseten Bhutia, T.O Sonam G. Bhutia, the All Sikkimese Bhutia Association, and the Rabong Barfung GPU. He also thanked all involved organizations, local groups, individuals, and volunteers whose tireless work and collective devotion made the Monlam a historic success, ensuring that its message of peace and harmony radiates throughout the region and beyond.

May all benifit 💐💐💐💐
