IEEE Student Branches of LDRP, Ahmedabad University, and VGEC are organizing IEEE Gujarat Programming League (IEEE GPL), a competitive programming event which tests the coding capabilities and technical knowledge of the participants. It is a three round competition which constitutes of the following tasks:

Round 1: Connect 4: Find a relation between the given four images (based on IT, Science and Technology).
Round 2: Sherlocked: Find error or output of the given code.
Round 3: The Final Code: ACM ICPC style 3 hour competitive coding.

The rounds will be conducted on the following dates:

R1 : 25th March’17
R2 : 26th March’17
R3 : 2nd April’17

A fixed number of teams (disclosed later) will be qualified for the final round considering the combined score of the first and second round.

Participants are required to form teams of three (max).
The competition is entirely hosted online.

Registration Fees:

Team having one or more IEEE Members : Rs. 75/-
Teams having no IEEE Members : Rs. 100/-

The fees are to be paid through Paytm.

SAMPARK 2015, the most awaited event of IEEE Gujarat Section is scheduled on 25th January, 2015 at SVBIT, Gandhinagar with the support of IEEE student branch SVBIT and is coordinated by U.V Patel College of Engineering, Ganpat Vidhyanagar.

SAMPARK provides a great platform for the budding Engineers across Gujarat to interact with their counterparts at other Institutes.

IEEE SB LDRP is going to organize a seminar on IEEEmadC (mobile application development contest) . In this seminar you will get to know what is this contest is all about,how you can participate in it and how you can make an effective app.

IEEEmadC (Mobile Applications Development Contest) is a new international contest organized by IEEE for all student members across the globe. The main goal of the IEEEmadC is to provide additional competitive activities for students in the scope of computer science. By competing, students would focus on developing their technical, social and team skills. In IEEEmadC, teams of up to three students are invited to devise and develop mobile applications that could contribute to the IEEE community or apply technology for humanity.

As last date of application is 28th Feb 2015,even non IEEE members who are willing to take part in this contest and want to become an IEEE member can attend this seminar.so let your frnds also know about it.There's a lot of prizes to be won.
