Tara Foundation Our mission is to enable hearing-impaired children to listen & speak like their hearing peers.

Tara Foundation works for the betterment of these children’s in all walks of life. Tara Foundation strongly believes in the potential Of persons with disability & Hearing Impaired children to use their innate capacities, to reach their independent personal plus professional life. Our Core Activities Are :

• To screen a child for finding out any physical, mental which may hamper development or no

rmal functioning of a child or prove to be an impediment to achieve his/her full potential.

• To organise camps, meetings, in collaboration with govt, govt aid institutions, NGOs for the purpose of screening.

• To provide services or transportation for such children or their parents for availing such services or Modern Medical Treatment.

• To procure implants, devices, equipment's which may be required to support a disabled child & provide it for free or at charges decided by the Trust.

• To provide services of Doctors, Therapists & Other services related to screening, investigation, medical care or rehabilitation.

• To provide facilities like Audio logical and Radio logical investigations. Implants, Tools like Cochlear implants, Bone bridge implants, Brain-stem implants and Hearing aid.

• To provide Therapeutic services, Rehabilitation services to hearing impaired child like Speech Therapy.

• To provide services to all Genetically Deaf and Dumb children including services relating to Cochlear Implant.

Every child deserves to hear their mother's heartbeat and their father's call.

Since 2016, the Tara Foundation has been on a noble mission to create a deafness-free future by empowering the differently abled. For a child who cannot hear, speaking becomes an impossible hurdle. By providing crucial early intervention and treatment, the foundation helps children with hearing impairments learn to hear and speak.

With around 1.60 crore people in India experiencing hearing disabilities, the foundation is taking massive steps to combat this issue.

Key Initiatives by Tara Foundation:

Operating 12 Newborn Hearing Screening Centers and 5 Speech Rehabilitation Centers across Gujarat, including cities like Ahmedabad, Godhra, and Bhuj.

Launching "Dhwani on Wheels," a mobile service that brings essential hearing screening directly to villages and remote areas.

Running a special Hearing School in Ahmedabad that has successfully helped deaf children graduate into mainstream schools.

Establishing a Hearing Aid Bank to collect donated devices and provide them to children from economically disadvantaged families.

Early diagnosis is key—a simple two-minute test right after birth can detect hearing issues, and interventions within the first three years can give a child a completely normal life.
