Start with what you have.
One doesn't always need more resources to begin. Sometimes, we just need to see what is already around us - differently.
Recently, our fellows visited a local integrated farm and apiculture unit, where they met Imtiyaz Ahmad and learned about beekeeping, livestock, vermicomposting, and how these practices can work together to create a sustainable livelihood.
The learning went beyond the practices themselves. Imtiyaz Sahib’s message was simple: when we put our head, heart, and hands to something, things can grow.
We don’t always need to go far or look for something bigger. The resources, knowledge, land, and opportunities around us can be a starting point for building livelihoods while living in a way that contributes to the community, ecology, biodiversity, and nature.
At Mool Sustainability, we believe learning from what already exists around us is an important step towards regenerative living.
