Sometimes I genuinely wonder—are we even being treated like human beings?

For the past one month, we’ve been suffering because of endless electricity cuts. Today, the power was cut at 8 AM, and even at 8 PM, there is still no electricity.
For God’s sake, hamare gunah kya hain? We pay our bills, we fulfil our responsibilities, so we have every right to demand basic services.
We are not asking for luxury—we are asking for electricity. We demand a clear answer: Why are we being subjected to such prolonged power cuts, and when will this situation end.
Enough is enough. We are fed up and exhausted. Stop ignoring us and give the people a proper answer.

Gewan/Wool is a cherished part of Kashmiri weddings, traditions, and joy. Celebrate it, sing it, and enjoy it—but please don’t let celebration become disturbance.
At night, extremely loud speakers can deprive an entire neighbourhood of sleep, including cancer patients, elders, children, students, and those who must work early.
Culture should never be confused with noise, nor celebration with disturbing others. We call ourselves educated and intellectual—let us show it through consideration.
Please lower the loudspeaker volume at night. Keep our culture alive, but keep humanity alive too.
