Dar Family of Tullamulla Mourns the Loss of Fata Begum
Tullamulla, 11 April 2026:
The Civil Society of Tullamulla expresses its deepest condolences to the Dar family of Eid Gah Road, Tullamulla, on the sad demise of Fata Begum, the beloved mother of Ab Rashid Dar and Gh Mohd Dar, and the cherished grandmother of Shujat Rashid Dar, a highly respected Executive Member of the Civil Society Tullamulla.
Mr. Zahoor Bhat, Chief Patron of Civil Society Tullamulla, conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family during this difficult time. He prayed for the departed soul to be granted the highest in Jannatul Firdous and for the family to be blessed with patience and strength to endure this immense loss.
May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may Almighty Allah grant her a place among the blessed in the hereafter. Ameen.

Civil Society Tullamulla Meets PMGSY Exen Madam Safina Ji
A delegation of Civil Society Tullamulla, headed by Mr. Manzoor Wani and Mr. Sajad Ahmad, met the Executive Engineer (Exen) PMGSY, Madam Safina Ji, to discuss several pressing public issues.
During the meeting, the delegation raised concerns regarding the condition of the road from Dumakadal to Khir Bhawani via the Central University of Kashmir. They also highlighted the persistent problem of waterlogging at the main bus stand in Tullamulla. The delegation further demanded new macadamization of the road, proper drainage systems, and the construction of protection Walls along the roadside.

Important announcement
A high-level meeting of the core committee and elected members of the Civil Society Tullamulla was held today to deliberate on vital organizational matters and future planning. While some core members were unable to attend in person, they participated via telephone, ensuring their insights and suggestions were integrated into the day's decisions.
The core committee expressed its deep appreciation for the dedication and impactful work carried out by the current elected members.
To formally honor these contributions, the society unanimously decided to organize a farewell gathering in the coming days.
It was officially resolved that, effective immediately, Chief Patron Mr. Zahoor Ahmad Bhat and Patron Mr. Ajaz Ahmad Wani will oversee all organizational affairs and administrative matters. They will remain in charge until further orders or until the conclusion of the upcoming electoral process.
The society confirmed that the schedule for the next elections will be announced shortly to ensure a smooth and democratic transition of leadership.

Tullamulla Numbal Sports Field Gets a Major Boost: Former MLA Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar Donates Cricket Roller

Ganderbal: In a heartening gesture for sports enthusiasts in the Tullamulla area, former MLA Ganderbal, Mr. Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar, has donated a cricket roller to the Tullamulla Numbal Sports Field. The move has been widely appreciated by the local community, with the Civil Society Tullamulla and the Sports Association Tullamulla jointly expressing their profound gratitude.

The cricket roller, a vital piece of equipment for pitch maintenance, was handed over in a simple ceremony attended by local sports personalities and residents. It is expected that it will significantly improve the quality of the playing surface, enabling cricketers to practice and compete under better conditions.

Mr. Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, Chief Patron of Civil Society Tullamulla, lauded the former MLA’s consistent support for grassroots sports. “This is not just a machine; it is an investment in the future of our youth. A well-prepared pitch encourages more tournaments and helps young talent shine. This donation will benefit cricketers of all ages, and we are truly grateful to the former MLA for responding to our need,” Mr. Lone added.

Local residents and young cricketers welcome the new addition, expressing hope that it would lead to more frequent matches and training sessions.
