MADRAS a sub-drop within Paromita Banerjee’s Riyaz range is an homage to the iconic Madras checks of Tamil Nadu.

Crafted in pure cotton with vegetable-dyed yarns, each fabric is woven into custom grids that create vibrant, airy, one-of-a-kind checks. Rooted in centuries of history yet reimagined for today, the MADRAS checks celebrate colour, craftsmanship and timeless softness.

More than embellishment, Button Masala turns buttons into design. A versatile technique that moves seamlessly across styles and silhouettes. India’s first B-Girl and international street dance artist, Ambarin Kadri, elevates the Button Masala Ajrak shawl, reimagined as a striking blouse.

Featuring Prabhavam Rug by Neytt
Rooted in the language of Indian classical dance, The Mudra Collection by Neytt weaves gesture into form—symbols of creation, unity, devotion and light. Rugs that turn spaces into living expressions of art, tradition, and spirit.

One Zero Eight by Save The Loom is honoured to present Taanbaan by Rta Kapur Chishti. A celebration of India’s hand-spun and handwoven legacy.

The exhibition features yarns spun on Gandhiji’s traditional charkha from locally cultivated cottons in Andhra Pradesh, with the artistry and skills of 3 shuttle weaving, and Jamdani inlay patterns at times combined with Karnataka silk. In Bengal local tussar appears with Ambar charkha cottons in the body of saris, whereas in Maharashtra and Karnataka silk warp combines with an ambar charkha cotton weft and three shuttle woven pure silk borders.

Here is the range of saris, dupattas and yardage along with home products in cotton with hand-spun tussar woven in Uttar Pradesh.
