✨ Yesterday, Pahal Foundation had the opportunity to meet Ms. Aditi Singh, Hon’ble MLA, Sadar Raebareli.

🌈 We invited her to our upcoming event “Awaaz Aazadi Ki”, commemorating the 7th anniversary of the historic Section 377 judgment, a milestone in India’s journey towards equality and dignity for all.

🤝 During the meeting, our team also discussed the challenges faced by Gender and Sexual Minority (GSM) communities in Raebareli, including issues of social inclusion, access to opportunities, and acceptance. We shared insights from our ongoing work with GSM communities and the importance of supportive policies in building an inclusive society.

📖 On this occasion, we also presented her with the book Same-Sex Love in India, an anthology celebrating the resilience and history of q***r voices.

We look forward to her encouragement and support as we continue our efforts to create safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces for GSM communities. ✨

🛡️ Protect What Matters. Choose PrEP. 🌈

At Pahal Foundation, we believe that prevention is power. 💪

PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a simple, safe, and highly effective way to prevent HIV before exposure — especially for members of the GSM (Gender and Sexual Minorities) community and others at higher risk. Just one pill a day can reduce your chances of getting HIV by 99%!

✨ PrEP is:
✅ Discreet
✅ Easy to use
✅ Empowering

Let’s break the stigma. Let’s talk about PrEP. Let’s protect our choices, our health, our future.

Non - binary is used to describe a person whose gender identity falls outside the male-female gender binary. This term can encompass a wide variety of gender experiences, including people with a specific gender identity that is neither exclusively man nor woman, people who identify as two or more genders (bigender, pangender or polygender) and people who do not identify with any gender (agender). Non-binary people may or may not also describe themselves as trans, gender q***r or gender fluid (someone whose gender is not fixed over time). Used next to a noun i.e. non-binary youth.

🧘‍♂️✨ Celebrating Unity and Wellness on International Yoga Day! ✨🧘‍♀️

We at Pahal Foundation are thrilled to share glimpses from our International Yoga Day celebration, where members of the transgender and hijra community came together to embrace the spirit of yoga. This day was not just about flexibility and poses; it was about breaking barriers, fostering inclusivity, and promoting mental and physical well-being among all.

🌈 Our session was led by a wonderful transgender yoga instructor who guided us through various asanas that not only enhanced our physical strength but also brought peace to our minds and hearts. We are proud to support and advocate for wellness initiatives that are inclusive of all gender identities and expressions.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made this day truly special. Let’s continue to support each other in our journeys toward health and harmony. 🙏💜
