Sakhi Sang

Sakhi Sang Sakhi Sang is an NGO that was conceived in Faridabad in 1995 for the upliftment of under privileged children who were not able to afford formal education.

Today an increasing number of children are living in slums, trapped in a daily cycle of forced work and physical and emotional abuse. They need someone to show them the joys of childhood and educational opportunities so that they can build a better future. Sakhi Sang is a group of like minded people who wish to become this opportunity! Sakhi Sang was conceived in Faridabad in the year 1995 for the

upliftment of under privileged children who were not able to afford formal education. The activities started in a park in section 14 under the shade of Jamun trees, with a batch of 10 Jhugi Jhopri children, which has blossomed into over 200 children today. Sakhi Sang is a non profit, philanthrophic organization that channels funds and efforts towards providing education and general awareness about health and sanitation for the upliftment of the less privileged children. Present Activities
