l areas are organized regularly for knowledge upgradation. FMA is affiliated to ALL INDIA MANANGEMENT ASSOCIATION (AIMA) the apex body for management which has around 56 local management associations and is active in dissemination of management knowhow across the country. History
Faridabad Management Association was formed in the year 1992 by prominent minded Persons like Mr. Mallah – Operations Head, Porritts Sepencer, Mr. V.D. Dhudeja- Director, Mota Institute of Management Studies, Dr. R.N. Bosu- Chairman, Neo Institute of Quality Management, Capt. Virendra Singh- Director, NIIT Study Centers, Mr. Deepak Mahendru – Sr. Manager, Dealer Development of Escorts Ltd. and Mr.Sanjay Sachdeva of Escorts. It was again revived by Mr. V. Thyagarajan, then Senior Manger, Finance of Escorts and Mr. D.K. Singal– Associate Vice President, Operations of Escorts limited with the help and support of Capt. Virendra Singh- Director,NIIT Study Centers and Mr. Kamal Singh – Director, CMD, All India Management Association.It was re-affiliated to AIMA in the Year 2003. The First program held in 2002 – Feb, was held with support of Mr. Subhash Lakhotia on “Kelkar Committee Recommendations on Income Tax” at FIA Hall, Bata Chowk. It was a grand success. FMA was re-affiliated to AIMA in June, 2003. President of AIMA - Mr. R.Gopalakrishnan who is the Executive Director of Tata Sons and then AIMA President and Mr. Singal – President, Faridabad Management Association signed an MOU with AIMA in year 2003 to endorse the AIMA-FMA Relations.
