நம் தமிழ்நாட்டின் சொத்து, சுவையும் ஆரோக்கியமும் கொண்ட சூரிப்பழம் மரம்! வறட்சியான நிலத்திலும் வளரக்கூடிய இந்த மரம் குறைந்த பராமரிப்பில் திகழும் தன்மை கொண்டது. அதன் பழங்கள் சுவையானவை மட்டுமல்ல, ஆரோக்கியத்துக்குத் தேவையான சத்துக்களும் நிறைந்தவை.

ஒளிரும் ஈரோடு மற்றும் ஈரோடு ரவுண்ட் டேபிள் மூலமாக ஈரோடு மாவட்டம் கொடுமுடி வட்டம் சிவகிரி அரசு ஆண்கள் மேல்நிலைப்பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு 10/11/2024 இலவசமாக 2100 மரக்கன்றுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன. மேலும் இந்த நிகழ்வில் தலைமை ஆசிரியர் திரு பரமசிவம், பசுமை படை பொறுப்பாசிரியர் திரு பி சேகர் பள்ளியின் உதவி தலைமை ஆசிரியர் திரு எம் கார்மேகம் விழாவில் கலந்து கொண்டனர். ஏற்கனவே இந்த பள்ளியில் நிறைய மரங்கள் பராமரிக்கப்பட்டு பசுமையான சூழலை உருவாக்கியுள்ளனர். இந்தப் பள்ளியில் சத்துணவு தேவையான காய்கறி தோட்டம் 2000 சதுர அடியில் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. சென்ற அக்டோபர் மாத இறுதியில் ஈரோடு மாவட்ட சுற்றுச்சூழல் அமைப்பாளர் *திருமதி கீதா அவர்களின் வழிகாட்டுதலின் பேரில் இந்த பள்ளி மாணவர்கள் ஐந்து பேர் மற்றும் பொறுப்பாசிரியர்கள்
P சேகர் ஆசனூர் மலைப்பகுதியில் மூன்று நாட்கள் இயற்கை முகாமில் தங்கி பல்வேறு அனுபவங்களை பெற்று வந்தனர்.மாணவர்கள் மரக்கன்றுகளை பெற்று தங்கள் இல்லத்தில் நட்டு வளர்த்து வருகின்றனர் என்பது மகிழ்ச்சிக்குரிய செய்தி. ஒளிரும் ஈரோட்டின் நோக்கம் ஒரு மனிதன் குறைந்தபட்சம் 100 மரங்கள் யாவது பராமரிக்க வேண்டும் என்று. அந்த நோக்கத்தை பள்ளி மாணவர்களும் பொறுப்பாசிரியரும் செவ்வனே செய்து கொண்டு உள்ளனர்.

ஈரோடு மாவட்டத்தில் 10 லட்சம் மரக்கன்றுகள் நடும்
பசுமை திருவிழாவில்‌ முயற்சியின் ஒரு பகுதியாக, ஈரோடு ஸ்பைஸ் ரவுண்ட் டேபிள் 211 மற்றும் பிற சமூக அமைப்புகளுடன் இணைந்து, இன்று ஈரோடு தூக்கநாய்க்கன்பாளையம் பிளாக்கில் உள்ள ஏலூரில் உள்ள அரசு மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளிக்கு 3450 மரக்கன்றுகளை வழங்கினோம்.

பள்ளியில் உள்ள 334 மாணவர் பலத்துடன், இந்த விநியோகம் ஒரு உண்மையான சமூக முயற்சியாகும். மாணவர்கள், தங்கள் அர்ப்பணிப்புள்ள ஆசிரியர்களின் வழிகாட்டுதலுடனும் ஆதரவுடனும், தங்கள் உறவினர்கள், தங்கள் பகுதியில் உள்ள விவசாயிகள் மற்றும் நண்பர்களிடமிருந்து மரக்கன்று கோரிக்கைகளை சேகரித்தனர், இது பரவலான அணுகலையும் நேர்மறையான தாக்கத்தையும் உறுதி செய்தது. அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொரு இடத்திலும் நிலம் மற்றும் நீர் இருப்பை சரிபார்க்க கூடுதல் நடவடிக்கை எடுத்தனர், இந்த மரக்கன்றுகளை செழித்து வளரும் மரங்களாக வளர்ப்பதற்கான சிந்தனை மற்றும் பொறுப்பான அணுகுமுறையை வெளிப்படுத்தினர்.
