The Women’s Livelihood Federation successfully conducted a two-day Member Training (OMT) on 12th and 13th December 2025 to strengthen the capacities of its member organizations. The training focused on key thematic areas including Human Resources, Leadership development, Marketing strategies, Fundraising and Donor Management, and effective Program Management. In addition, participants received a detailed explanation of the 53 organizational development parameters, helping them understand compliance, governance, and sustainability requirements. The sessions were interactive and practical, enabling participants to enhance their organizational systems, leadership skills, and overall institutional effectiveness for improved service delivery and long-term impact.

WLF’s 2nd Annual General Body Meeting, Yercaud, 29&30 September 2025
WLF conducted its 2nd Annual General Body Meeting at Yercaud on 29th and 30th September 2025, focusing on “Women’s Economic Empowerment for Social Transformation– From Dependence to Self-sustenance.”
On the first day, The annual report for 2024–2025 was shared through a PPT presentation,
helping members understand the organizations progress and future plans. The leaders of member organizations participated in group activities to strategize on strengthening sub-
committees, fundraising for WLF, capacity building for women leaders, and promoting
entrepreneurship among women and their families. All four groups presented valuable ideas
and action plans. Based on group discussions, additional suggestions were made to include
new activities in the 2025–2026 annual plan.
The second day featured guest speakers from sectors such as social entrepreneurship, human
rights, and legal advocacy. Each shared personal experiences and strategies for overcoming
challenges to drive social and economic transformation. Mr. Vijay Kulkarni and Mr.
Ayyappan joined virtually to extend their wishes. Certificates were awarded to Niranthara Lite achievers and participants of various WLF trainings. The event served as a valuable networking and learning platform for member organizations. Special thanks to Dhwani Foundation and WLF Board for their support.

Women’s Livelihood Federation (WLF) organized entrepreneurship training from 09.09.2025 to 14.09.2025 for its member organizations and their members to enhance skills and promote self-employment. Training was conducted at GSSS, Gobichettipalayam (millet food products); Manitham Trust, Dindigul (sambrani making); SPEED Trust, Erode (millet food products); and Pasumai Ulagam Trust, Erode (soap making). Sessions focused on practical business skills, market awareness, and value addition techniques. These programs empowered women with knowledge, confidence, and tools to start small enterprises, improve livelihoods, and strengthen member organizations for sustainable communitydevelopment. #

WLF Admin Team, and Master Trainers participated in the 2nd Training of Trainers held at Dharmapuri on 17,18.09.2025. The session focused on strengthening participants’ understanding of finance and accounts-related documentation maintained in NGOs and emphasized the importance of good governance in organizational management. The training aimed to enhance transparency, accountability, and effective record-keeping practices across member organizations.

25.08.2025, Ms. Secretariat Team met Mr. Thirumurugan, General Manager, MSME Department, Erode, along with his team. We shared our status report, brochure, and resource book for their reference and had a fruitful discussion on the way forward. He welcomed our request to collaborate in implementing livelihood programs for the family members of women leaders and expressed his commitment to support. where he will share details of new schemes for women entrepreneurs as well as existing ones. Additionally, he encouraged us to organize group meetings in Erode district, assuring MSME’s assistance with information and campaign support.
