Threads that connect, ideas that inspire 🧶✨

The Regional Council Meeting (RCM) – The Knit in Tiruppur (20–21 March) was truly an enriching experience! Around 20 Enablers of Change from Erode came together, joining 300+ passionate changemakers from various chapters.

From meaningful interactions to thoughtfully curated sessions, every moment was inspiring and energizing. Grateful for the connections built and perspectives shared.

Yi Erode Learning Vertical, under the Yi Talk series, hosted an insightful Union Budget Analysis Session featuring CA. Gopal Krishna Raju (GKR).

The session provided a detailed comparative analysis of the “Old vs New Income Tax Regime”, along with an in-depth discussion on the proposed new Income Tax Act / Bill, covering structural reforms, simplified compliance, and its implications for individuals and businesses.

The session created a strong impact on 30+ participants, including members from Yi, CII, and IWN, equipping them with practical clarity for informed tax planning and strategic financial decision-making.

*Yi Erode* successfully hosted a *Yi Learning series* under the topic “*Stories from the Top”* learning session with *Mr. N. Sugumar*, Executive Director, *Top Anil Marketing Company*, who articulated how innovation at *Anil Food Products* has been effectively translated into sustained market impact.
The session delivered strong takeaways on *innovation transition, leadership practices, marketing strategies, and administrative discipline*, supported by practical examples - including products like the widely accepted *Anil Biriyani Vermicelli* - impacting *around 60 Yi and CII members*.

Little Business Tycoons (LBTL) is a unique Erode initiative designed to kindle entrepreneurial insight in young school minds. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 250 students, each eager to explore the world of business. Mohandinesh and Yaall from the Entrepreneurship Team, along with Viyas from Thalir, and Yadhavi, IPC MASOOM RM–SRTN, shared valuable perspectives. Sessions covered essential aspects such as finance, marketing, business ideation, retailing, and imports–exports. LBTL successfully transformed curiosity into confidence, encouraging students to think creatively, take initiative, and dream of becoming future entrepreneurs and job creators.

A touching story of unity and compassion — a man from Balasore, lost for two days, was safely found in Erode and informed with his family.Yi members worked together, connecting phone calls, coordinating every call and lead until he was found. A true example of humanity and teamwork in action!
