At St.Thomas Charitable and Educational Trust (STCET), we were honored to welcome Mr. Senthil Kumar, the Director of Manal Foundation, to our Training Centre, Ingur, Erode District.

The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for our trainees to interact with an inspiring leader whose words of encouragement, motivation, and guidance left a lasting impression. His interaction with the trainees boosted their confidence and reinforced the importance of continuous learning and personal growth.

We sincerely thank Mr. Senthil Kumar and Manal Foundation for taking the time to visit our training centre and for their continued encouragement and support. Partnerships built on shared values and a common vision play a vital role in creating meaningful opportunities and lasting social impact.

𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻

As part of encouraging excellence in our tailoring training programme, St.Thomas Charitable and Educational Trust (STCET) proudly recognizes the outstanding efforts of our trainees through a Star Performer Award.

The best performer from each training batch is awarded a high-quality motorized sewing machine, sponsored by Manal Foundation. During the recent award presentation, Mr. Senthil Kumar, Director of Manal Foundation, handed over the sewing machine to the Star Performer from our previous batch, providing her with an opportunity to begin earning a sustainable livelihood through her newly acquired skills.

This initiative is more than a reward—it is an investment in confidence, self-reliance, and a brighter future. It has also become a source of inspiration for the women in our two ongoing training batches, motivating them to learn with greater dedication, improve their skills, and strive to become the next Star Performer.

At STCET, we believe that recognizing talent and creating livelihood opportunities go hand in hand. Such initiatives not only celebrate achievement but also empower women to build independent and sustainable futures.

The St.Thomas Charitable and Educational Trust (STCET) team was pleased to participate in the 2-Day Residential 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀, organized by the Tamil Nadu Sangam Alumni Organization at Yercaud.

The workshop provided valuable learning opportunities on key areas of nonprofit financial management, including 𝗡𝗚𝗢 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘀, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝘀, 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗜𝗦, 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀.

The interactive sessions, practical hands-on training, and knowledge sharing by experts offered meaningful insights that will further strengthen our financial systems, transparency, and organizational governance.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Tamil Nadu Sangam Alumni Organization for organizing this well-structured residential programme and creating a valuable platform for learning, collaboration, and professional development.

For the past 8 years, our partnership has empowered ITI students and women through skill development and livelihood initiatives, achieving 𝟴𝟴% 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 in skill development, employability, and career advancement.

We sincerely thank the Quest Alliance team for their warm hospitality and continued support. Together, we look forward to strengthening our partnership and creating even greater impact for youth, women, and communities.

🌱 Learning. Collaborating. Growing.

The St. Thomas Charitable and Educational Trust (STCET) team was delighted to participate in the NGO Capacity Building Workshop organized by Atma . The two-day programme brought together 33 NGOs from across India, creating a valuable space for learning, collaboration, and sharing best practices.

Through interactive sessions on fundraising, donor engagement, project proposal development, and organizational growth, our team gained practical insights that will help us strengthen our work and create greater impact in the communities we serve.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire ATMA team for organizing such a meaningful and enriching experience. We look forward to applying these learnings and building stronger partnerships for sustainable social change. 🤝💙

St. Thomas Charitable and Educational Trust (STCET) is proud to share that our President, Mr. Kamalakannan Ramakrishnan , participated in the Peer-Led Fundraising Capacity Building Workshop organized by Dasra in Sathyamangalam, Tamil Nadu.

The workshop provided valuable insights into fundraising, financial planning, donor engagement, and building sustainable nonprofit organizations. It was also a wonderful opportunity to learn, collaborate, and connect with fellow NGO leaders.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Ms. Anuradha and team, Ms. Shiboni Sundar, and all the participants for making this a meaningful learning experience.

𝗧𝗲𝗻 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗮 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀

𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗮, a 10th-grade woman from an agricultural family, once set aside her dreams to focus on marriage and motherhood. For over a decade, she dedicated herself to her home and family. Yet, deep down, she always wanted to step beyond household responsibilities and build something of her own.

Despite facing hesitation from her family and self-doubt after years away from education, Saranya took a brave step — enrolling in the Domestic Data Entry Operator training program supported by .Thomas Charitable and Educational Trust and - National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.

This decision became a 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲. Through this training, she rebuilt her confidence, developed valuable skills, and reignited her passion for learning.

Today, Saranya is employed at a local Online Service shop, and she dreams of starting her own E-Service Center — paving the way for 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 and 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀.
