📚 National Reading Day 2026

Ayurgreen Foundation observed National Reading Day in association with the students of Ayurgreen College of Life & Science (ACLAS), reaffirming the importance of reading in shaping knowledge, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.

As part of the observance, a Quiz Competition was conducted for students, covering Malayalam Literature, World Literature, and General Knowledge. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, reflecting their interest in reading and learning.

Ayurgreen Foundation extends its appreciation to all participants and encourages students to continue nurturing the habit of reading as a pathway to personal and academic growth.

Volunteer Internship Program – Certificate Distribution Ceremony

Ayurgreen Foundation proudly honored the first batch of 14 students from Ayurgreen College of Life Sciences who successfully completed our Structured Volunteer Internship Program.

Over the course of the internship, these young volunteers stepped beyond the classroom and into real healthcare and rehabilitation environments, gaining valuable exposure through patient support, departmental assistance, administrative activities, and guided learning experiences.

More than an internship, it was a journey of compassion, responsibility, teamwork, and personal growth. Through every interaction and every duty, the students experienced the true meaning of service and community engagement.

We congratulate all the participants on this achievement and extend our heartfelt appreciation to the faculty members, mentors, and staff who guided them throughout the program.

Here's to the successful completion of our first batch and to many more young changemakers in the years ahead.

🌿 World Environment Day 2026 | Healing Together, Growing Together

Ayurgreen Foundation marked World Environment Day with a meaningful celebration that brought together patients, staff, and management in a shared commitment towards a greener future.

The highlight of the programme was a tree-planting initiative in which our patients actively participated, symbolizing hope, growth, and recovery. Each sapling planted stood as a reminder that healing and sustainability go hand in hand.

The gathering was addressed by Dr. Sakkariya, Managing Director of Ayurgreen Group, and Mr. Salman, Administrative Officer of Ayurgreen Foundation, who spoke about the importance of environmental stewardship and the role each individual plays in protecting our planet.

A unique feature of the event was the Environmental Pledge Wall, where participants dipped their hands in mud and left their handprints on a white canvas, expressing their commitment to preserving nature for future generations.

Together, we planted more than trees—we planted responsibility, awareness, and hope.

💙 Looking Back: KOODE – A Day of Care & Connection

📍 Ayurgreen Hospital, Edappal

Ayurgreen Foundation, in collaboration with ILA Foundation, organized KOODE, a special gathering designed for beneficiaries and their caregivers.

More than 50 participants came together for a day focused on care, connection, wellness, and support.

The program combined medical consultations, caregiver guidance, awareness sessions, cultural activities, and meaningful interactions in a welcoming and supportive environment.

A special appreciation goes to the volunteers of Ayurgreen Foundation, whose dedication and compassionate support played a vital role in the success of the program. From coordinating participants and assisting caregivers to ensuring the comfort of every beneficiary, their efforts helped create a truly inclusive and caring experience.

Beyond healthcare services, KOODE created a space where participants could connect, share experiences, and feel supported as part of a larger community.

A significant outcome of the program was the identification of three deserving beneficiaries who were subsequently enrolled under Ayurgreen Foundation's Charity Care Program, ensuring continued support beyond the event.

📍 Looking Back: Stroke Awareness & Rehabilitation Camp – Calicut

🗓️ 25 June 2026

As part of our mission to support stroke survivors and their families, Ayurgreen Foundation, in association with Rotary Club Calicut Cyber City, organized a District-Level Stroke Awareness & Rehabilitation Camp at Kozhikode.

The program brought together stroke survivors, caregivers, rehabilitation professionals, and healthcare experts to create awareness about stroke recovery, rehabilitation, and the importance of early intervention.

More than 40 participants benefited from the camp through rehabilitation guidance, awareness sessions, and interactions with healthcare professionals.

Participants received guidance on:

✔️ Physiotherapy & Mobility Training
✔️ Occupational Therapy
✔️ Robotic Rehabilitation
✔️ Nutritional Guidance
✔️ Integrated Rehabilitation Approaches

One of the most inspiring moments was hearing the recovery journey of a stroke survivor, reminding everyone that recovery is possible with the right support, determination, and rehabilitation.

🏃‍♂️ RUN FAST – Stroke Awareness Mini Marathon

📍 Edappal | 🗓️ October 2025

As part of World Stroke Day 2025, Ayurgreen Hospitals and Ayurgreen Foundation organized the RUN FAST Stroke Awareness Mini Marathon, bringing together nearly 200 participants in a collective movement for health awareness and stroke prevention.

The event was more than a marathon. It was a community effort to spread awareness about the warning signs of stroke, the importance of timely medical intervention, and the role of healthy lifestyles in preventing stroke.

The campaign highlighted the FAST method for identifying stroke symptoms:

🔹 F – Face Drooping
🔹 A – Arm Weakness
🔹 S – Speech Difficulty
🔹 T – Time to Act

From students and healthcare professionals to senior citizens, participants came together to send a powerful message:

For many individuals, once the treatment phase is completed, a different challenge begins. They often find themselves at a point where they are unsure about what to do next or where to start. Returning to work may feel difficult, daily activities may still be challenging, confidence may be reduced, and reconnecting with normal life can become overwhelming.

This is where social rehabilitation becomes important. Recovery is not only about physical improvement; it is also about helping individuals regain independence, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with their roles in family and society.

Through our Social Rehabilitation Program, we work to understand each individual’s needs and provide support that helps them move forward step by step.

We have already been able to support 3 patients in accessing employment opportunities, helping them take meaningful steps toward financial stability and independent living.

Because getting better is only one part of recovery. Getting life back is equally important.
