Happy Birthday to our hero Soumyadeep! 🎂🐾🎉

Today we celebrate not just your birthday, but your beautiful heart! Thank you for your generous donation to our shelter fur babies - because of kind souls like you, our little paws get food, love and hope for a forever home.

People like you remind us that humanity is still alive. Your support means the world to us and to every wagging tail and soft purr in our shelter. You are not just a donor, you are family to our fur babies.

On your special day, our whole furry family sends you lots of purrs, wags and warm wishes! May your year be as kind and joyful as you are! May all your dreams come true and may you always be surrounded by love, just like you give to our little ones. 💜✨

A kind person from Bidhannagar Sector 2C heard a crying and mewling sound somewhere nearby and informed us.
When we followed the sound, we found this old girl lying inside an abandoned electrical substation near Malkos Sarani. She couldn't even move.

The place was extremely dangerous, with electrical equipment all around her. With the rain pouring in continuously, she was completely wet and lying in her own urine and faeces.

And then we saw her leg. 💔

There was a huge wound on one of her hind legs, extending all the way towards her groin, and it was filled with mature maggots. She was terribly dehydrated and completely exhausted.

She is also quite old and her eyesight isn't good anymore.

Honestly, looking at her there, we still can't understand how she survived the stormy night. Being inside such a dangerous place, soaked in the rain, unable to move, with that terrible wound... she was just waiting for someone to hear her.

And thankfully, someone did.

We rescued her immediately and her treatment has started. ❤️‍🩹

But she has a long way to go. Considering her age and the condition in which we found her, she is going to need proper treatment, medicines, wound care, good food and a lot of time to recover.

We have brought her out of that horrible place, but we cannot take this journey for her alone.

If you feel something for this old girl after seeing her story, please help us keep her treatment going. Even a small contribution from many people can make a real difference for her.

Her treatment QR will be attached in the first comment. 🙏

She spent the night alone, hurt, hungry, wet and helpless.

Let's make sure she doesn't have to feel alone anymore. ❤️🐾

In Loving Memory of Snuggles
🐾
Some souls leave footprints on our hearts that time can never wash away.
Yesterday would have been our sweet boy Snuggles' birthday. Though he crossed the Rainbow Bridge back in 2023, the light, warmth, and pure love he brought into our lives remain as bright as ever.

To honor his beautiful spirit and celebrate his special day, his loving parents visited his resting place to offer their heartfelt prayers and love. In memory of the joy Snuggles shared so generously, ONE DAY MEAL 🎂 was gifted in his name to our furry babies at Aashray🐾❤️🥰 Snuggles taught us that love is eternal, and today, his legacy is keeping other innocent bellies full, their hearts happy & tails wagging 🐕

🌿🎂Happy heavenly birthday, sweet Snuggle. You are missed beyond measure, loved forever, and never forgotten. 🌈✨

🐾 HE WAS LEFT TO DIE IN A DRAIN 🐾*

Yesterday while passing by, we saw him.
An old, sick boy, lying motionless inside a drain ,soaked in rain, don't know how long. Body full of mange, skin rotten, not even the strength to lift his tail. People passing by, no one stopped.

He had given up. We couldn't.

We wrapped him in a cloth, put a muzzle for safety, and brought him to *Durgapur Aashray For Animals*. Right now he is on saline, under treatment. He is very old and critical.

We don't know if he will survive, but we will give him a chance. At least his last days won't be in that dirty drain, alone.

Please pray for this old boy. 🙏

If you wish to help with his treatment - medicines, skin treatment, and food - please come forward.
