The present unemployment situation in India is alarming.
Reason 1: The most conventional thought in India is that govt is supposed to generate jobs, which is a typical "socialist" thought process. These socialist views are the main obstacles to a country's growth.
Solution: Only privatisation can generate jobs rapidly, of course, regulated by Govt. If we look at the developed countries, banks, railways, highways, waterways, airports, insurance agencies, and other necessary major PSUs all are privatised.
Imagine the situation the railway is privatised. Then the allotted private company will recruit mass youth against all its vacancies. Consequently, the private company is bound to provide all necessary services and assistance to the passengers. If trains run late by a few minutes, they will be fined also as it happens in Japan or Germany. But in India, if one PSU is privatised, people either say "Govt is selling the PSU. Shame!" or "No! I want a stable govt job where there is no or less pressure".

Reason 2: The rural economy is to be improved. Until and unless this is done, privatisation is harmful to villagers.
Solution: Primarily all necessary support from govt should be provided to rural areas such as housing, water connection, toilets, (solar) electricity, gas connection, medical facilities, schools-colleges, agricultural equipment, and necessary training for jobs, which will lay the foundation for necessary privatisation in future. Then villagers are inspired and aware of how to apply for jobs or generate jobs on their own. I think the present Central Govt is already doing such steps.
My students of IIIT Nuzvid along with myself already took such an initiative in the rural areas of Andhra Pradesh and created a Facebook webpage named "Change Rural India" in this direction as stated above.

Reason 3: Majority of Indian youths focus only on govt jobs. They are wasting years in coaching centres. In turn the educational business of coaching centres are growing like Yeast.
Solution: Indian youth must look beyond of govt jobs after trying for one year or max two years. If they have some innovative ideas, they turn those into businesses through loans which are easily available from banks. Take risks, be your boss, and generate jobs.
