In spite of a polluted industrial city, our Durgapur is more or less rich in bird fauna. Our city contain near 200 species of birds with inclusion of migratory birds. Their beauty is also important for mythological aspect. But with the increase of pollution level and more importantly destruction of habitat & environment of birds they become vulnerable day to day. So we have a minimum duty for tha
t beautiful neighbor around us. This is the first website about birds of our city. Our main ambition is to give information about more or less each bird of Durgapur to everybody. To fulfill this mission we published Bird of the Week every wednesday, where we declared a bird as "Bird of the Week" and give all details of that bird to identify it. If anyone know about a new bird then I hope he/she should be interested about it. So, by this way we are trying to create a little sound about bird conservation in our beautiful city. So I and our administrator group are requesting to people to support us in this work to save this beautiful creature and also to keep our environment healthy.
