With streams of sacred Ganga flowing from His locks, with a great serpent garland hanging around His neck, and with the powerful sound of His damru shaking the universe, reminds us that even in destruction, there is divine rhythm. Even in chaos, there is sacred purpose.

Mahashivratri is the sacred night of awakening, strength and inner transformation. Tonight let's close our eyes and surrender our fears, our failures, our silent tears to Him. Let this be the night you release every doubt and rise again, become stronger, purer, unstoppable and the hearts stay awake — searching, praying, hoping.

14th February is not just a date — it is a wound in the heart of our nation. In Pulwama, within the serene valleys of Jammu and Kashmir, forty valiant soldiers of the Central Reserve Police Force laid down their lives in the line of duty. In a single, devastating moment, brave hearts were stilled, and the nation stood united in grief and disbelief.

Forty dreams faded into the sky, yet countless flames of courage began to burn forever. They were sons, fathers, and brothers — but above all, they were guardians of our freedom. Their sacrifice reminds us that the peace we live in is protected by unseen bravery.

As members of the Chemical Engineering Students' Society (ChESS), with profound sorrow and immense pride we bow our heads in remembrance. Salute to our heroes. JAI HIND 🇮🇳

“A Constitution is the expression of a nation’s faith in justice, liberty, and equality.”

Republic Day is celebrated on 26 January to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950, marking India’s transformation into a sovereign democratic republic. This historic day reflects the culmination of the freedom struggle and the vision of a self-governed nation guided by constitutional ideals.

Drafted under the leadership of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the Constitution guarantees fundamental rights and outlines duties that ensure justice, equality, and unity. The Republic Day parade symbolizes India’s cultural diversity and democratic spirit.

As students, we are entrusted with upholding constitutional values through responsibility and integrity. The Chemical Engineering Students’ Society wishes everyone a Happy Republic Day, promoting academic excellence, social awareness, leadership, and active citizenship for national progress.

Maa Saraswati lives in the pages we turn with tired eyes, in the prayers we whisper before difficult days, and in the strength that keeps us going when understanding feels far away.

She knows our silence — the fear of falling behind, the weight of expectations, the nights when effort feels unseen. Yet she stays, gently reminding us that learning is not a race, but a journey shaped by patience, faith, and countless small steps forward.

"Youth is the heartbeat of change, pulsating with the rhythm of possibilities."

National Youth Day celebrates the strength, creativity, and responsibility of young minds. Observed on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, this day honours his belief that youth are the true builders of a strong nation. Through his teachings and speeches, Vivekananda inspired young people to develop character, self-discipline, and confidence. He believed that education should not only sharpen the mind but also shape values and courage.

Youth is defined by vision, integrity, and determination. In a world full of distractions, young people must choose effort over excuses and values over shortcuts. “A tree is known by it's fruits,” and a nation by it's youth.

It encourages us to pause from our busy lives and reflect on the values that truly matter: caring , forgiveness , and sharing joy without expectation.

It is a time when families and friends come close amidst familiar carols awakening memories of Santa and the simple wonders of childhood. Whether it's the laughter of Christmas morning or the serenity of an evening by the fire, Christmas brings a togetherness and warmth making it truly special.

On this joyous occasion, as we gather under starlit skies and quiet prayers, Chemical Engineering Students' Society extends its wishes for a merry Christmas. May it leave us softer, braver, and more willing to love — even after the season fades.

Mathematics is more than numbers; it is the art of reasoning, the science of patterns, backbone of innovation and truth waiting to be understood. It explains the universe and gives meaning to the unseen.

Born on this day, Srinivasa Ramanujan wrote truths with empty pockets, trusting numbers when the world turned away. Rejected, unheard, and fading too soon, he gifted the world the concepts of infinite series, mock theta functions, and highly composite numbers—ideas so far ahead that the future needed decades to catch up. He died before applause found him, yet lived just long enough to change eternity.

As proud members of ChESS, we bow not only to mathematics, but to the pain behind its beauty. Happy National Mathematics Day—may we never forget the cost at which knowledge is born, and the man who touched infinity so we could understand it.

Children’s Day, observed annually on 14th November, commemorates the birth anniversary of *Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru*, the first Prime Minister of India, who held a strong belief in the strength, spirit and potential of children in shaping a nation's future.

This occasion is not only a party of joy and fun, the celebration is an indication of a collective duty. Children are entitled to a safe and affectionate home where they are free to dream, learn without any reservation as well as speak out. It is a reminder for us to cultivate young minds through affection, support, and chances that foster their development.

This profound wisdom challenges us to understand that integrity in action supersedes abstract belief. Guru Nanak Dev Ji, founder of Sikhism, was the first of the ten Sikh Gurus. His birth anniversary, Guru Purab, is observed on the full moon day of Kartik month, this year marking the 556th anniversary.

He was born in Rai Bhoi Ki Talwandi (Nankana Sahib, Pakistan) in 1469. His divine verses form the foundation of the Guru Granth Sahib. Celebrations begin with Akhand Path, followed by Nagar Kirtan, Prabhat Pheras, and culminate in Langars organized in Gurudwaras. His core message, "Ik Onkar," promotes universal harmony and kindness.

These festivities foster togetherness, reminding us to practice love and humility daily. The Chemical Engineering Students’ Society wishes everyone a happy Guru Nanak Jayanti. Let’s keep the Guru’s teachings in our hearts and strive to make this planet more loving.
