AGM Meeting Highlights – 27 March 2026

हादसे के शिकार 23 बच्चों की याद में बनी स्मृति मीनार, 10 छात्रों ने की एफडी

पठानकोट। जिले के अधीनस्थ फत्तेवाल में संस्था जागृति द्वारा समाजसेवा की दिशा में एक अनोखी पहल की गई है। संस्था ने 2018 में हुए उस दर्दनाक हादसे में जान गंवाने वाले 23 बच्चों की याद में एक स्मृति मीनार का निर्माण करवाया है। इस कार्य में संस्था के 10 ट्रस्टी, 7 पेटेंट सदस्य और 250 से अधिक सहयोगी शामिल रहे।

संस्था के सदस्यों ने बताया कि इस मीनार का उद्देश्य बच्चों की याद को सजीव रखना है ताकि आने वाली पीढ़ियाँ उस घटना से सबक ले सकें। मीनार के निर्माण के साथ ही संस्था ने एक पार्क का भी निर्माण कराया है, जिससे स्थानीय लोग विश्राम और ध्यान के लिए स्थान का उपयोग कर सकें।

संस्था द्वारा 10 छात्रों की एफडी भी करवाई गई है ताकि उनके भविष्य को सुरक्षित किया जा सके। संस्था जागृति जरूरतमंद लोगों की आर्थिक मदद भी लगातार करती आ रही है।
संस्था से जुड़े सेवानिवृत्त अधिकारी, समाजसेवी और एनआरआई लगातार इस अभियान में योगदान दे रहे हैं।

Memorial Tower Built in Memory of 23 Children Who Lost Their Lives in an Accident; 10 Students’ FDs Deposited

Pathankot: In a noble initiative by the social organization Jagriti, a memorial tower has been constructed in Fattewal village of Pathankot district in memory of 23 children who lost their lives in a tragic accident in 2018.

The organization’s team, comprising 10 trustees, 7 patron members, and over 250 supporters, played a key role in completing the project. Alongside the tower, a memorial park has also been developed to remind people of the incident and to offer a peaceful place for visitors.

As part of its social welfare initiatives, Jagriti has also opened Fixed Deposits (FDs) for 10 students to support their education and future needs. The organization, supported by retired officials, social workers, and NRIs, continues to extend financial aid to needy families across the region.

पीसीएस भूतपूर्व सब डिविजनल मजिस्ट्रेट धारकलां‌ पठानकोट की अगुवाई में बीते सात सालों से पंजाब व हिमाचल के गैर विकसित नीम पहाड़ी इलाकों में निस्वार्थ और निर्विघ्न शिक्षा,मैडिकल व सामुहिक लोक हितों के लिए बेहद प्रशंसनीय कार्य कर रही जाग्रति फाऊंडेशन चैरीटेबल ट्रस्ट नियाड़ी द्वारा शहीद राम सिंह पठानिया मैमोरियल जीएनडी यूनीवर्सिटी कालेज नियाड़ी में महिला सशक्तिकरण को समर्पित सातवां फैलोशिप अवार्ड समारोह आयोजित किया गया।
जाग्रति फाऊंडेशन चैरीटेबल ट्रस्ट द्वारा कालेज के जरूरतमंद मेधावी 13 छात्रों जिसमें 12 लड़कियां शामिल थी को दो लाख रूपए की राशि के फैलोशिप अवार्ड वितरित किए गये।

जाग्रति के संस्थापक व मैनैजिंग ट्रस्टी आरपीएस वालिया भूतपूर्व पीसीएस ने जाग्रति ट्रस्ट के पंजाब व हिमाचल के गैर विकसित नीम पहाड़ी इलाकों में बीते सात सालों से शिक्षा, मैडिकल व सामुहिक लोक हितों के लिए किये जा रहे समस्त कार्यों के बारे में जानकारी दी।
मुख्य अतिथि प्रख्यात शिक्षाविद् मैडम शुभ्रा रानी ने जाग्रति ट्रस्ट द्वारा शिक्षा मैडिकल व लोक हितों के लिए किए जा रहे समाजसेवी कामों की भरपूर सराहना की।
संरक्षक हरिंदर पाल सिंह भूतपूर्व डिप्टी एक्साईज एवम् टैक्सेशन कमिश्नर पंजाब और वरिष्ठ समाजसेवी व परियोजना निदेशक मीडिया भगवान दास गुप्ता ने भी अपने विचार व्यक्त किए।
प्रधानाचार्य आनरेरी मेजर डा.बलबीर सिंह मन्हास ने कॉलेज की विस्तृत रिपोर्ट पेश की। प्रोग्राम का अंत पंजाब के सुप्रसिद्ध लोक नृत्य गिधा की पेशकारी से संपन्न हुआ जिसने सभी दर्शकों का मन मोह लिया।

Jagriti Foundation Celebrates Its Grand Foundation Day with Dignitaries & Cultural Extravaganza at Partap World School Pathankot

Jagriti Foundation Charitable Trust marked its grand Foundation Day on March 29, 2025, at Partap World School, Pathankot, with a spectacular event celebrating its years of impactful social service in education, healthcare, environment, infrastructure, housing, tourism, and more.

Hon'ble Justice Shri Jagmohan Bansal (Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, along with Shri J.P.S. Khurmi, District & Sessions Judge, Pathankot, as Guests of Honor. The event saw the presence of eminent personalities from administration, judiciary, and police departments, alongside trustees, patrons, directors, members, volunteers, and distinguished guests.
