To
Hon’ble Minister of Youth Services and Sports
Shri Satish Sharma Ji
Respected Sir,
With utmost respect and hope, we humbly place this emotional appeal before your kind consideration regarding the long-pending issue of regularisation of services of National Youth Corps (NYC) employees.
Sir, for years, NYC employees have been serving the Youth Services and Sports Department with dedication, sincerity, and unwavering commitment. We have stood at the forefront in implementing departmental programs, organizing sports activities, assisting in youth development initiatives, and supporting government missions at the grassroots level. In remote villages, far-flung areas, and challenging conditions, NYC employees have carried the department’s vision on their shoulders.
Despite our continuous service and contribution, we remain the worst sufferers. We work with meagre honorarium, without job security, without social security benefits, and without a stable future. Many NYC employees have crossed the prime years of their lives while serving the department with the hope that one day justice will be done.
Sir, behind every NYC employees is a struggling family. There are aged parents waiting for support, children whose education depends on uncertain earnings, and households surviving with financial instability. The lack of regularisation has created mental stress, economic hardship, and social insecurity among us. Still, we continue to serve with loyalty and discipline because we believe in the system and in leadership like yours.
You have always been known as a people’s leader who listens to genuine grievances and takes firm decisions in the interest of youth and public welfare. We firmly believe that under your dynamic leadership, the long-standing demand of NYC employees can finally see a ray of hope.
Regularisation of services will not only secure our future but also strengthen the Youth Services and Sports Department. A secure and motivated workforce will work with even greater dedication, bringing positive transformation in sports and youth activities across Jammu and Kashmir.
Sir, we are not asking for charity — we are asking for justice. We seek recognition for years of service rendered with honesty and commitment. We request your kind intervention to frame a concrete policy for the regularisation of NYC employees so that we can live with dignity and provide stability to our families.
With folded hands and hopeful hearts, we appeal to you to kindly consider our genuine demand and take compassionate steps towards resolving this issue at the earliest.
We shall remain forever grateful for your support and justice.
With highest regards and hope,
NYC employees
