đź’” Upper Assam Floods : A Cry for Help
These photographs are more than images of floodwater—they are a painful reminder of lives turned upside down.
Across Upper Assam, floodwaters have entered homes, destroyed belongings, damaged roads and livelihoods, and left families struggling to find safety. Homes that once carried the warmth of families are now surrounded by muddy water. Shops and small businesses have been washed away. In many places, what remains is only debris, broken shelters, and the heartbreaking uncertainty of what comes next.
For many affected families, the flood is not simply about losing a house—it means losing food, income, documents, livestock, belongings, and the security they spent years building. Children, elderly people, and vulnerable families are facing days of fear, uncertainty, and hardship.
But in this darkness, our humanity can become their hope.
They need clean drinking water, food, medicines, hygiene supplies, clothing, temporary shelter, and most importantly, the reassurance that they have not been forgotten.
Upper Assam needs us—not tomorrow, but now.
Let us stand together with the families affected by this devastating flood.
Let us turn compassion into action.
Let us help them rebuild not only their homes, but their lives.
🙏 Stand with Upper Assam. Stand with humanity.
Every contribution, every helping hand, and every act of kindness can make a difference.
