The Youthful Elite Society (YES) recently led a transformative wave of awareness programs on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) and WASH Practices, brilliantly facilitated by Ms. (Final Year MSW Intern)!

We brought vital conversations, health education, and empowerment straight to three incredible schools:

📍 Langtuk Teron Memorial Sr. Sec. School, Baithalangso

📍 Adarsha Vidyalaya, Rongkhang (Dongkamukam)

📍 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), Langminso

By focusing on personal cleanliness, safe sanitation, and healthy lifestyles, these interactive sessions shattered long-standing taboos. We created a safe space where adolescent girls could ask questions openly, replace myths with accurate knowledge, and embrace their growth with absolute confidence! 💪🌱

🙌 A massive thank you to the Education Department, school authorities, teachers, and staff for your incredible support in making this initiative a resounding success.

YES remains fiercely committed to empowering young girls, championing health education, and building a stronger, more informed community!

For the past three years, we have been on an incredible journey of action, advocacy, and awareness. From pushing for waste-free surroundings and healthy living to championing sustainable community practices, our mission has always been clear: protect the nature that sustains us.

Every single tree planted, every sustainable choice made, and every voice raised for conservation brings us one step closer to a greener tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who has supported YES on this three year milestone. Let’s continue to grow, plant, and protect our beautiful green spaces and rivers together!

Team Youthful Elite Society (YES) had the privilege of meeting Dr Tuliram Ronghang Hon’ble Chief Executive Member of KAAC, on 1st March 2026 at his official residence.

We placed before him our proposal for strengthening drug abuse control and awareness initiatives in West Karbi Anglong District envisioned as a compassionate and proactive response to the growing challenge of substance abuse affecting our youth and society.

He received us warmly, listened with keen interest, and appreciated the social significance of the initiative and also assured us for every help and assistance needed for the same.

We are sincerely encouraged by his assurance of support and guidance, and we remain hopeful that, through collective effort, this endeavour will contribute to a healthier, more aware, and resilient community.
