PHETS is working in Barnadi Wildlife Sanctuary situated in Udalguri District one of the new districts curved out of erstwhile Darrang, in Boroland Territorial Autonomous District, Assam. The areas on the foothills of Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh, is rich in biodiversity which is yet to be explored in eco-tourism perspective. The sad fact is that most of the reserved forests and wildlife sanctuar

Keeping this trend in view PHETS has come up with an innovative concept “to care, protect and make a livelihood out of the forest and its wildlife”. Barnadi wildlife sanctuary can boast of rare species like pigmy hog(at present its not sighted), hispid hare, golden langur, bengal slow loris, tiger, elephants, deers, migratory birds, and lots of endangered avian species. its also home to orchids and valuable tree species.
