We are honoured to announce that two of our films have been officially selected for the Egyptian American Film Festival (EAFF) 2025, an international festival taking place from October 31 to November 4, 2025, with screenings at the Center for the Arts at the College of Staten Island (CSI), New York.

Our selected films are “Yoodha – The Warrior” in the Feature Film section and “INCLINATION” in the Short Film section.

This year’s festival celebrates global cinema, featuring over 5,100 submissions from more than 102 countries. It will be held at the Center for the Arts at CSI, Staten Island, NY 10314, with the opening ceremony scheduled for October 31, 2025, at 6:30 PM.

The EAFF is renowned for honoring exceptional talent in the film industry. This year, the festival will pay tribute to the legendary Egyptian actor Adel Emam, celebrating his remarkable legacy in Egyptian and Arab cinema.

This dual selection marks a significant milestone in my filmmaking journey and represents a proud moment for our entire creative team. Having two films chosen in separate competitive categories highlights the passion, dedication, and collaborative effort behind these projects.

We extend my sincere gratitude to the festival programmers and juries for recognizing our work, and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the making of these films. We look forward to representing our cinema on the international stage at EAFF 2025.

The 14th Foundation Day of Sampreeti Welfare Society, celebrated on January 2nd, was a day filled with unbridled joy for the children. The event featured a plethora of activities, including dance, music, poetry, and discussions .

Dr. Tinku Moni Bora, a physician from Oil India Hospital, shared valuable insights on healthcare and nutrition in a simple and engaging manner. His words had a profound impact on everyone present.

Nayanjyoti Kakati, a young entrepreneur, emphasized the importance of education and savings in a clear and concise manner. His words resonated deeply with the students, parents, and guardians.

Smriti Prakash Baruah, Director of Sampreeti Welfare Society, hosted the event, which was attended by all members and dignitaries of Sampreeti Welfare Society, teachers and students of Kamini Tea Estate Primary School and Mayaajan Primary School, and parents and guardians. Everyone present celebrated a wonderful day together, filled with joy and enthusiasm.

This time, on July 26, the Sampreeti welfare society's "Olop adda nijor babe" awareness campaign was held at the Tarajan Tea estate in the Dibrugarh district. The topic was gender equality.
