The Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) is the apex body of private Real Estate developers in India, established in 1999, with a vision of transforming the landscape of Indian Real Estate industry. 2. To develop common platform of interest connected with or allied to the construction trade, industry and profession for obtaining fair and equitable terms in Profession and for obtaining fair and equitable terms in promoting and Constructing ownership flats by initiating, promoting, supporting or opposing such of the legislations or other action or actions affecting the interests of above trade and industry.
4. To take initiative to secure the welfare of the trade and industry of promoters and builders.
5. To encourage the trade, industry and profession of construction works and all other ancillary and allied trades and industries.
6. To encourage adoption and promotion of correct business practices according to ethical code of correct business practices as enumerated in Annexure — II to the Rules and Regulations of the Association and maintain efficiency, dignity and integrity of the profession.
7. To set up mediation and/ or arbitration machinery independently or jointly with other or others for settlement of disputes between members and/or members and non-members arising out of or in any way connected with or touching the trade and/or services rendered by such trade and industry.
8. To promote scientific study of building and / or construction industry and with that end in view to collect and disseminate amongst members, statistical and technical information affecting the interests of the trade in general and construction industry, trade and profession in particular and for that purpose to print, publish, issue and circulate papers, periodicals, books, circulars and other literature and hold seminars, meetings, conferences, discussions etc.
9. To encourage and conduct research for progress in building and construction trade and industry and any other profession connected therewith and for that purpose to establish, construct, promote, form and maintain testing institutions, laboratories, buildings, test houses, libraries, collection of models, designs, drawings, articles of interests and such other information.
10. To improve and elevate the technical and general knowledge of persons engaged in or about to be engaged in the building trade or in any employments, in connection therewith by arranging lectures, conducting classes, exhibitions meetings, seminars etc., and to award certificate of distinction and medals, trophies and prizes and also institute and establish or to help in establishing funds for scholarships, grants, rewards, and other beneficiations.
11. To confer with any public or private institution, local, national or international in regard to matters of common interests affecting or in any way concerning or touching the promoting and building trade, industry and profession.
12. To provide necessary support for enabling persons engaged in promoting and building trade and industry and to initiate and assist all such actions to protect and safeguard the profession of real estate development and construction industry and such other trade connected with building materials including the production and distribution of basic materials in short supply, particularly with regard to construction industry.
13. To nominate representatives of Association or Institution having similar or allied objects on the Committee or the Board of or Committee or Governing Body of other Associations and Institutions whenever invited to do so in the interest of the trade or industry.
14. To organize conferences, exhibitions, seminars, tours, delegations, webinars etc. and to nominate delegates and advisers and to take steps which may promote and support the building trade and industry and profession
15. To establish, undertake, superintend, administer or contribute to any charitable, benevolent, national institutions or to Defense Fund and to give donations or advances to deserving causes which may be conducive to the advancement of the objectives of the Association and in particular to the cause and activities which may lead to physical, mental, social development of the country, or the builders' community in particular or otherwise.
16. To provide first hand training or skilled training to construction workers.
17. To create better working conditions for labour engaged in the construction industry and to provide necessary amenities to the workers, their families and children.
18. To encourage the members to insure the workers, employees as per necessity and/ or statutory requirements.
19. To establish harmony between the construction industry and or Association on one hand and the Government departments (both at Central, and State and local level), Public Bodies, Financial Institutions, Private bodies and to promote healthy growth of the construction industry.
20. To represent to the Government, public bodies all problems of the profession of the real estate development and building construction works.
21. To Co-operate with Governments (Central and State) and or local, statutory bodies for the successful ex*****on of projects under the various planned programmers of the Country and particularly during National Emergencies as far as practicable.
22. To constitute CREDAI Women’s Wing and CREDAI Youth Wing (as per annexure III) keeping in view the need to bring together the next generation of real estate builders and developers so that they can be groomed and nurtured to become better professionals, ethical businessmen and true leaders in Real Estate and to inculcate strong values and develop knowledge and learning for young and bright developers.
23. To open and conduct branches and centres through out district and to undertake such other activities for furtherance of all / any of the objects of
the association in accordance with the provisions made in the Rules and Regulations of the Association.
24. To make contributions and donations for social and public charitable purposes and undertake and spend for any social and public charitable purpose.
25. To do all other lawful acts and things as may be incidental or conducive to the realisation or attainment of all or any of the aforesaid objects of the Association directly or indirectly and to incur requisite expenditure thereon.
26. To associate with other Institutes for education purposes and also with Govt. bodies, local bodies and administration for various purposes.
27. To become member of Federation of CREDAI at State and National Level (as may be applicable).
28. To engage in beautification and development of City and for that purpose support the Local Authorities.
