The Trust ROY FOUNDATION, based in Dhubri, Assam, is a charitable organization dedicated to driving impactful social change across Bharat. Focused on uplifting underserved communities, the foundation operates across the nation, with initiatives in education, empowerment, environmental sustainability, healthcare, and disaster relief.
Founding Trustees :-
1. Giren Chandra Roy, popularly known as "Chem Guru Giren Sir," is a highly respected chemistry educator with 23 years of experience preparing students for IIT JEE and NEET. As the first boy from his village to pass the class 10 exam with an outstanding result and then pursued his higher studies from the most prestigious Cotton College ,Guwahati. He has set an inspiring example for young learners from rural areas. He is also actively associated with several social organizations, lending his expertise and resources to various community causes. Having mentored thousands of IITians and hundreds of doctors across the country—including in Delhi, Ranchi, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and West Bengal—Giren’s dedication to educational upliftment and rural development fuels the foundation's mission.
2. Rituparna Roychowdhury, daughter of the Zamindar of Salkocha in Dhubri and an alumna of Cotton College, is known for her academic brilliance and compassion for helping the needy. Driven to uplift Bharat, she plays a crucial role in empowering communities, ensuring access to resources, and supporting self-sustaining projects within the foundation.
3. Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Sanjib Bordoloi brings his distinguished military background to the foundation. Committed to inspiring young people to serve the nation, he encourages and trains the young minds to join the Indian armed forces as officers and Agniveers, fostering patriotism and leadership.Indian needs dynamic minds for its upliftment as Biswaguru. He is very much passionate to work for the society.
Areas of Focus
The Trust ROY FOUNDATION's initiatives target key areas essential for community upliftment:
1. Education and Literacy: The foundation focuses on delivering quality education and exam preparation for IIT JEE , NEET, CDS,NDA,AGNIVEER & SAINIK Schools particularly to students from rural backgrounds. Additionally, it addresses illiteracy through accessible education, helping individuals in underserved communities achieve foundational literacy.
2. Community Empowerment: The foundation supports skills development, vocational training, and self-reliance programs that foster resilience and economic independence within communities.
3. Environmental Sustainability: Committed to environmental conservation, the foundation promotes eco-friendly practices, encouraging communities to adopt sustainable solutions.
4. Healthcare and Disaster Relief: Addressing healthcare needs in underserved areas, the foundation works to improve access to medical resources. During natural disasters, it mobilizes rapid relief and rehabilitation efforts.
5. Sports- For keeping mind and health fit and fresh ,foundation focuses for different sports activities for the young minds
