Manjari Foundation, a registered non-profit organization established in May 2015, is committed to help women from marginalized communities overcome social injustice, poverty and exclusion. We support rural women initiative at grass-root levels to facilitate empowerment so that they can lead a dignified life. We have come up with an effective and easily adaptable Manjari model which is capable of b

ringing in social and economic changes in adverse conditions. Manjariโ€™s open platform is a result of tireless contribution from professional development workers and capable support from PRADAN, a pioneer in promoting Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in India. We target new milestones with the belief that someone, somewhere would make a choice to support our mission and vision and come forward to be a part of the project

In a heartfelt collaboration with the Dholpur Police, Manjari Foundation organized a workshop dedicated to Gender Sensitization and the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace (POSH).

Under the leadership of Shri Vikas Sangwan (SP, Dholpur), the atmosphere at the Dholpur Police Line was one of deep reflection and commitment. Our very own gender expert, Dr. Rakesh, led a session that went beyond legalities, it was about fostering a culture of empathy and dignity.

We are grateful to the Dholpur Police for their cooperation. When institutions and organizations join hands, we don't just change policies; we change lives.

Water is more than a resource, it is the identity and future of our villages. So, on World Water Day, we organized a comprehensive awareness program at the Government Higher Secondary School in Gadoli Gram Panchayat (Mavli) to address the pressing challenges of depleting groundwater and increasing water scarcity.

As part of our Water Security Project, supported by Tata Trusts, we brought together over 200 community members, local leaders, and students to discuss the future of our most precious resource.

๐Ÿ’งEmpowering Women in Water Management: Mr. Ganpat Nath Chauhan (Sarpanch, Gadoli) highlighted how water crises disproportionately affect women and girls.
๐Ÿ’งEngaging the Next Generation: Through quizzes, painting competitions, and interactive games, students explored the science and necessity of conservation, proving that the youth are ready to lead this movement.

๐Ÿ’งThe community took a collective pledge to transition from awareness to action by implementing rainwater harvesting, reviving traditional water bodies and adopting water-saving technologies in agriculture.

Together, we are building a water-secure future.

There is a specific kind of magic that happens when a woman realizes her hands can do more than just toil, they can create, lead, and transform. Today, we aren't just opening the doors to a new store; we are opening a gateway for hundreds of rural artisans to step into the heart of the city. We are thrilled to announce the inauguration of the newest Katori Foods outlet at Ambience Mall, Gurugram. โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿฅฃ

For the women of our micro-enterprises, Katori is not just a label on a product. It is the first time many of them have seen their hard work recognized by name. Every product on these shelves carries the whispers of rural heartlands, the strength of a collective, and the spirit of a woman who has found her voice.

This milestone was made possible through the unwavering support of Jhajjar Power Ltd., whose commitment to social responsibility through 'Udyogini' has been a cornerstone of this journey. The store was inaugurated in the kind presence of Mr. Rajeev Rao (General Manager HR and Admin), Mr. Manbar Bhandari (Deputy Manager CSR) and Mr. Raj Ratna Jha (Civil Consultant CSR)

Water & Gender: Where Water Flows, Equality Growsโ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’ง

Water is often seen as a basic utility.
But for many, it is a daily responsibility and more often than not, a womanโ€™s responsibility.

This yearโ€™s World Water Day theme, โ€œWater and Genderโ€ highlights a reality we donโ€™t talk about enough.

Across communities, women and girls spend hours collecting water, managing household needs and coping with poor sanitation.

The cost is not just physical but itโ€™s lost time, missed education and limited opportunities.

Therefore, we at Manjari Foundation believe that water is not just an operational issue - but also a social one.
Small, thoughtful actions can create real impact:

a) Ensuring safe and accessible sanitation
b) Supporting community water initiatives
c) Encouraging participation of women in local engagement

Because the true value of water is not only in how efficiently it is used, but in how equitably it is shared.

This World Water Day, the conversation needs to shift - from access alone to inclusion as well.

India is managing a massive scale-resource gap: 18% of the worldโ€™s population supported by just 4% of its freshwater.

For years, water management was seen as a conservation effort. Today, it has transitioned into a critical national policy. We are moving from general awareness to a culture of precision.

Think of it as a financial audit for our ecosystems. Water budgeting allows us to track every drop, ensuring our "expenditure" never exceeds the local "replenishment" rate. Itโ€™s time to stop spending what we donโ€™t have.๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’ง
