On 25.11.2025, Dr. Pankaj Srivastava, Statistical Adviser, Ministry of Women and Child Development, New Delhi, along with Mrs. Sangita Kumari Nath, DSWO, Dhenkanal, the DCPO, Dhenkanal, and the PO, Dhenkanal, visited the Children’s Home and Sakti Sadan under Maharshi Dayananda Service Mission, Gobindpur, Dhenkanal. The visit was conducted in the presence of the Secretary, program manager of Mdsm and all staff members. During their visit, they interacted warmly with the children and thoroughly inspected the living areas, infrastructure, recreational facilities, educational arrangements, and daily routine management. They provided valuable feedback and expressed appreciation for the overall maintenance, child care practices, and effective functioning, MDSM, Gobindpur, Dhenkanal.

The observation of National Legal Services Day on November 9, 2025, was marked by a significant outreach program organized by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Dhenkanal. Held at the Children's Home, M.D.S.M., Gobindpur, Dhenkanal, the event saw the participation of the Honorable Secretary of the DLSA, Mr. Subhankar Mishra. The program was dedicated to educating the inmates on crucial topics, including Child Acts, fundamental Child Rights, the importance of the Right to Education, strategies for Protecting Children with Disabilities, and understanding the Impact of Technology on Childhood. To encourage active engagement, competitions such as a debate and painting contest were held for the children, along with a special presentation on the themes. The successful observance concluded with the distribution of snacks and chocolates to all the inmates.

An egg is the beginning of life — a symbol of hope and strength."

Today, on 10th October 2025, World Egg Day was celebrated at our Children’s Home, MDSM, Gobindpur, Dhenkanal.
The celebration was graced by Dr. Kailash Satapathy (VAS, Odapada), Dr. Sagar Jyoti Behera (VAS, Motanga), and Dr. Soumya Ranjan (L.T., Baladiabandha).
The inmates of the Children’s Home, Shakti Sadan, and all the staff members participated in the event. As part of the celebration, eggs were distributed among everyone to mark the importance of nutrition and good health.

On this special occasion, the esteemed guest, CWC member Mr. Bibhuti Bhushan Das, delivered an inspiring address on the dignity, wellness, and healthcare of older persons, reminding all of the respect and care they truly deserve.The celebration also began with their worship and was followed by the distribution of tiffin and sweets by the staff and the guest, along with various recreational activities for the residents.
