Utkal Federation of United Nation’s Association (UFUNA) affiliated to Indian Federation of United Nation’s Association (IFUNA), World Federation of United Nations Association (WFUNA) was formed & registered under society registration act 1860 in the State level in the year 1999 with its registered office at LIC Lane, Rathagada, Dhenkanal. It was inaugurated by justice G.B.Pattnaik ,Ex-Chief Justic
e of India in the year 2000. The purpose of UFUNA is to raise public awareness of the UNO and its activities to promote the general goal of UN, like international peace & security, Disarmament, Human rights & Humanitarian affairs. It celebrates the specified days of United Nations .Generally it celebrates 50-60 important days of United Nations in a year to promote awareness among the people on various issues. UFUNA is also promoting educational campaign among public and awareness programme among students. During its 15 years of existence, UFUNA has organized several programmes to enlighten the people of Odisha about the objects of UNO by conducting seminars, conferences and honored several professionals, artists, educationists who are all proven their efficiency in their field of activities.
