Team Dhemaji proudly advanced to the Semi-Final of the Asomi Saras Mela, Guwahati, where they competed against Sonitpur. With an exceptional performance, the team secured their place in the Final against Sivasagar and ultimately emerged as Champions, securing the 1st Prize.🥇🏆

Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Government of Assam continues its unwavering commitment towards building a self-reliant and empowered women force across the state. The government’s firm resolve was once again reflected today through participation in a special programme organised under the Chief Minister’s Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan at Deuribil, Dhemaji Assembly Constituency.
On this significant occasion, the programme marked a historic milestone with the distribution of initial capital assistance of ₹10,000 per beneficiary to over 32,000 energetic and aspiring women entrepreneurs. This initiative stands as a powerful step towards strengthening women’s financial independence and entrepreneurial spirit.
The successful ex*****on of this programme was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the whole ASRLM team, whose relentless field-level engagement, coordination, and grassroots support ensured smooth implementation. The team played a pivotal role in mobilising beneficiaries, facilitating processes, and translating the vision of women-led economic empowerment into reality.
This landmark initiative not only reinforces the Assam Government’s commitment to women’s empowerment but also paves the way for sustainable livelihoods and inclusive development across the state. ✨
