⏰ Every Tick is a Step Forward at MAMTA Special School

What seems like a simple lesson in telling time is a big milestone for our children. With the loving guidance of our speech therapists, they are learning to understand their day — one tick at a time.

Children explored the moving hands of the clock and connected them to their daily routines.

With patient therapy support, confidence is growing every day.

We are happy to share that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Department of Speech & Hearing, SDM College of Medical Sciences, Dharwad and MAMTA Special School.

Every week, Speech-Language Pathologists visit MAMTA and conduct speech therapy sessions for our children.

Through group therapy, our intellectually challenged children are encouraged to improve their communication skills, academic abilities, confidence, and teamwork.

SHAPES AND SIZES

At MAMTA Special School, children were engaged in a fun play-based activity to help them identify different shapes and sizes.

Through hands-on learning, sorting and matching, our special children are encouraged to observe, recognize and understand basic concepts in an enjoyable way.

These simple activities build their thinking skills, attention and early learning foundation with joy and confidence. 💛

"Healthy Children brighter futures"

Under the National Deworming Day initiative, Albendazole deworming tablets supplied by the Health Department were administered to MAMTA’s special children to help eliminate intestinal worm infections.

Deworming is an essential step in preventing malnutrition and anemia, and in supporting the healthy physical and mental development of every child.

Today at MAMTA, our special children were given a simple and practical demo on the basics of First Aid.

AIM:
To create awareness about basic First Aid and help our children understand how to respond calmly and safely during small injuries and emergencies.
