"This job has given me a unique opportunity to contribute to the cause of Tibetan rights and freedoms. As the social media coordinator for vtag_tibetadvocacy accounts, I am responsible for managing the social media presence of the organization, and I take pride in engaging with our followers on various platforms. Additionally, as the coordinator for VTAG Indian region, I work closely with other regional coordinators to ensure the smooth functioning of our advocacy efforts and upcoming events. I chose TibetCorps because it provides an excellent platform for young Tibetans to work and understand the mechanism of Central Tibetan Administration (CTA). I first learned about this program in 2019, and since then, it has always been in my plan to work in CTA through Tibet Corps. What I love about this program is that it helps to reduce the gap that's building between the younger generation and our community. It's a great opportunity for young Tibetans to gain hands-on experience, which can be incredibly valuable in building a career in public service and related fields."
Her Service Period: January 17, 2023 to May 17, 2023
