བོད་ཀྱི་གཞོན་ནུ་ལྷན་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་ཚབ་བྱས་ཏེ། འཐུས་མི་རྣམས་དང་འཐུས་ཚབ་རྣམས་ལ་བོད་རང་དབང་འཐབ་རྩོད་ལ་རྒྱབ་སྐྱོར་མུ་མཐུད་གནང་བར་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེ་ཞུའི་ཡི་གེ་ཕུལ། དེ་བཞིན་བོད་ནང་གི་ཛ་དྲག་གནས་སྟངས་སྐོར་གྱི་ཡི་གེ་ཞིག་ཀྱང་ཕུལ་ནས། རྒྱལ་སྤྱིའི་དོ་སྣང་དགོས་པའི་གནད་དོན་གལ་ཆེན་དྲུག་ངོ་སྤྲོད་ཞུས་ཡོད།
བོད་ཀྱི་གཞོན་ནུ་ལྷན་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་ལྷག་པར་དུ་སེན་ཊར་རིཀ་སི་ཀོཊ་དང་སེན་ཊར་ཇེཕ་མེར་ཀི་ལི་རྣམ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་བོད་ཀྱི་གཞོན་ནུ་ལྷན་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་དཔའ་བོ་དཔའ་མོ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་དྲན་རྟེན་ཉིན་མོ་ཡིན་པར་བརྟེན། བོད་ནང་ཀྱི་བོད་མིར་རྒྱ་གཞུང་གི་སྡུག་རྩུབ་ཅན་གྱི་སྲིད་བྱུས་ལ་བརྟག་དཔྱད་ཀྱི་ཁྲིམས་འཆར་ངོ་སྤྲོད་གནང་བར་བཀའ་དྲིན་ཆེ་ཞུས་ཡོད། དེ་བཞིན་མཱ་ས་ཆུ་སེཊ་མངའ་སྡེའི་འཐུས་མི་ཇེམ་སི་པི་མེག་གྷོ་ཝན་དང་། ཊེག་ས་སི་མངའ་སྡེའི་འཐུས་མི་མའི་ཁལ་ཊི་མེག་ཁོལ་རྣམ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་ཕྱི་ལོ་ ༢༠༢༦ ལོའི་བོད་ཀྱི་མ་འོངས་དང་བཙན་བྱོལ་བོད་གཞུང་ངོས་ལེན་ཁྲིམས་འཆར་ (H.R. 8982) ངོ་སྤྲོད་གནང་བར་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེ་ཞུས་ཡོད།

On 8–9 June 2026, Mr. Tsering Chomphel, President of the Tibetan Youth Congress, participated in the Tibet Lobby Day organized by the International Campaign for Tibet in Washington, D.C., together with representatives from the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress chapters of New York–New Jersey and Minnesota.
Prior to the lobbying activities, the Tibetan Youth Congress President visited the Office of Tibet and met with Dr. Namgyal Choedup, Representative for North America. They held discussions on the activities and future programs of the Tibetan Youth Congress in the United States.
During Tibet Lobby Day, the Tibetan Youth Congress delegation visited the offices of several members of the United States Congress, including Representative James P. McGovern (Massachusetts), Representative Michael T. McCaul(Texas), Representative Scott Perry (Pennsylvania), Representative Pramila Jayapal (Washington), Senator Rick Scott(Florida), and Senator Jeff Merkley (Oregon).
On behalf of the Tibetan Youth Congress, letters were submitted to the Representatives and Senators expressing gratitude for their continued support on the Tibetan freedom movement. The delegation also presented a letter highlighting the ongoing urgent situation inside Tibet and outlining six key concerns requiring international attention.
The Tibetan Youth Congress particularly expressed appreciation to Senator Rick Scott and Senator Jeff Merkley for observing Martyrs Day on 29 April of the Tibetan Youth Congress, and introducing bill the Tibet Atrocities Determination Act. The delegation also thanked Representative James P. McGovern and Representative Michael T. McCaul for introducing bill the Assuring the Future of Tibet Act of 2026 (H.R. 8982).
The delegation attended an evening reception organized by the International Campaign for Tibet at the Russell Senate Office Building, where we met members of the Tibetan community residing in the United States. Also had the opportunity to meet former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, a longstanding supporter of the Tibetan freedom movement and a close friend of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. The event provided an excellent platform for strengthening support and advancing advocacy efforts for Tibet.
On 9 June, a dinner program was hosted by the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress Washington, D.C. Working Committee, former Central Executive members of the Tibetan Youth Congress, and local TYC members residing in Washington, D.C. The gathering provided an opportunity for productive discussions on activism, advocacy strategies, and the history of TYC's campaigns in the Tibetan freedom struggle.
The Tibetan Youth Congress extends its sincere gratitude to former TYC Central Executive member Yeshi Tenzin la for his generous financial assistance during the Washington, D.C. Lobby Day, his active participation in the lobbying efforts, and for sharing his valuable experiences.
