As we celebrate Women’s Empowerment Month, we’re proud to share the teaser of “She Plays, She Rises: Tibetan Women in Sports.” 🏀

Through our Women’s Basketball Tournament, we aim to create inclusive spaces for women and girls to participate, build confidence, and challenge barriers. This initiative highlights the power of sports in promoting equality, leadership, and personal growth.

Meet our intern, Tenzin Kyizom!

She's a 3rd-year BA student at Dalai Lama Institute, Bangalore, pursuing Psychology and English. Tenzin participated in college events like spelling bee and reading challenge, and loves working with animals.

At WED, she'll work on March campaign activities for Women's Empowerment Month and support the Tibetan Women Helpline.

We welcome her to the team and look forward to working with her.
