Shiva Community Development and Voluntary Association (SCVDA) is a registered Non-Profit Organization operating In District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh since 2014. The mission of our organization is continuously working hard and Striving towards the betterment of the society through its activities in every possible mode and reach maximum People. Various social issues for which we are actively working
and in the past we have worked for are awareness about HiV / AIDS, Animal Rescue, Population Control, Gender Injustice, Drug Addiction, Environment Conditions, Child Labour, Illiteracy, Water Sanitation and Contemporary Issues. One major issue for which we are always available is welfare of abandoned pets and street animals. All animals carry a lot of importance in our lives; each of them has a purpose for their existence as well if we understand. It is our duty as humans to protect animals for a better future. Our focus towards the welfare of the animals via different modes tend to help the ill and injured Animals; for the same purpose we conduct a lot of drives and projects for neutering, vaccinating the animals, conducting adoption drives and feeding them. All these activities come at a steep cost, both in terms of employee and volunteer burnout and money. We have expanded our abandoned and street animal welfare programs by our own till now. Further we are in a process to making a shelter for these animals at one location. In order to continue our work for these helpless animals we are asking for your contribution as well.
