Today, our team provided hospital assistance to 73-year-old Tibetan nun, Ani Jamyang Dolma. After experiencing severe dizziness and fainting spells, she was referred from Delek Hospital to the Zonal Hospital for an urgent head CT scan. This crucial scan will help us identify any underlying issues causing her symptoms so she can receive the right treatment.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Tibet Fund for their generous financial support of our health care program. Thanks to their generosity, we can continue providing vital, life-saving medical assistance to those in our community who need it most. 🙏✨

Our dedicated home care nurses took a trip up to the peaceful hills of TCV Dal Lake on 14th May 2026 for the regular hermit outreach program. Our team checked the body vitals of 14 hermit monks who are living in spiritual retreat. To help them stay healthy while they focus on their practices, we also provided essential medicine supplies to 7 hermit monks who ran out of their medicine supplies. Living in isolation means these practitioners often have limited access to routine medical checkups, which is why bringing healthcare directly to their doorsteps is so vital.
A heartfelt thank you to The Tibet Fund for making these healthcare visits possible and helping us care for our community's spiritual elders!

On Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, our team assisted an elderly Tibetan woman during her routine checkup at Tanda Hospital. Beyond just providing transport and medicine supplies, our dedicated nurse accompanied her to act as a translator. Navigating a hospital can be daunting, especially when a language barrier makes it difficult to communicate symptoms and needs to the doctors. By bridging this gap, we made sure she was heard, understood, and received the proper medical attention. 🏥💊
A huge thank you to The Tibet Fund for sponsoring our healthcare program. Your support allows us to step in and provide this essential assistance to our elders, ensuring they never have to face a medical appointment alone or unheard. 🙏✨

Today, our team received word about an elderly Tibetan man in our community who was suffering from severe stomach issues and constant vomiting. Living alone with no family nearby to care for him, his situation was critical. Our dedicated nurses, who regularly visit him to monitor his vitals, intervened immediately. They rushed him to Delek Hospital, where they stayed by his side to assist with necessary medical tests. After a proper diagnosis, it was confirmed he is suffering from severe diarrhea. We are relieved to share that he is now admitted and receiving excellent care from the hospital’s doctors and nurses. 🏥✨

A heartfelt thank you to The Tibet Fund for sponsoring our healthcare program. It is through their vital funding that we are able to provide immediate, life-saving assistance to the poor and needy in our community. Together, we are ensuring that our elders are never forgotten. 🙏✨
