As requested Mr. Karma Lekshey and Ms. Sonam Dechen led one-day workshop on Conflict Resolution and Counselling for 28 counsellors from 18 different Tibetan schools in India and Nepal on 5th December 2024. This workshop was part of a week-long programme titled “Symposium on Comprehensive Counselor Development”, organized by the Counselling Section of the Department of Education, Central Tibetan Administration (CTA).

The workshop aimed to equip the participants with effective strategies and techniques for managing conflict and providing better counselling services in schools. The group of counsellors had the opportunity to engage in discussions, practical exercises, and case studies related to conflict resolution and counselling, enhancing their skills in both areas.

A two-day workshop was facilitated by TCCR on 22nd and 23rd November 2024 as part of the three-week Induction Training for new recruits conducted by Public Service Commission CTA. The TCCR Sessions were focus on Staff Capacity Building, with an emphasis on introducing key soft skills. These skills were aimed at enhancing participants' interpersonal abilities, fostering their growth both personally and professionally.
This hands-on training provided the recruits with practical tools and techniques to navigate workplace dynamics effectively, thereby setting a strong foundation for their roles within the CTA.

This initiative aimed in building a stronger community of Tibetan women leaders, equipping them with the tools and skills needed to excel both personally and professionally.
