We at Shabri share a tribute to our founder, Mr. Nitin Sonawala, a man who selflessly dedicated his life to the betterment of others. His work in Kaprada was rooted in compassion and purpose, always focused on uplifting the tribal communities and creating opportunities where they were needed the most.

He strongly believed in the power of education, especially for the girl child, and worked tirelessly to make it accessible. He helped build lakes that brought life and sustainability to 128 villages, and encouraged organic farming practices that respected both the land and the people who depended on it.

What stood out most was not just what he did but the fact that he never sought recognition, only meaningful change.

Nitinbhai believed in creating change that lasts, and he did so with humility and purpose. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, the communities he strengthened, and the hope he helped nurture. He will be deeply missed, but always remembered with pride and gratitude.

May his soul rest in eternal peace. 🙏

Today, we celebrate the birthday of an inspiring changemaker, our visionary founder of Shabri Chhatralaya, Mr. Nitin Sonawala. With deep compassion and an unwavering commitment to uplift tribal and underprivileged communities, Nitinbhai has transformed countless lives through education, empowerment, and sustainable development. Under his leadership, Shabri Chhatralaya has become more than a hostel. It is a nurturing home where students are encouraged to dream big and achieve their fullest potential.

His impact goes far beyond education. Through the construction of 125 lakes for rainwater harvesting, he has rejuvenated water resources across rural areas, directly benefiting agriculture and local livelihoods. His advocacy for organic farming has encouraged healthier, more sustainable practices among farmers, creating both environmental and economic value.

Mr. Sonawala’s tireless efforts have not only opened doors of opportunity but also instilled dignity, confidence, and hope in entire communities. His work stands as a shining example of what can be achieved through selfless service and visionary action.
