Gandhi Rachnatmak Samiti was established on 2nd October in 1969,on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti by the Director and professors of B.I.T Sindri.Since then this club works on the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi in the direction of mutual benefit of the society.In the present scenario,it has evolved into a Social-cum-Technical-cum-Cultural-cum-Political club.It is the oldest clubs of B.I.T Sindri and owns a separate library under its belt.

Raksha Bandhan is a celebration of connection that quietly becomes a part of who and what we are. Ikigai is a book which puts forward the idea of finding purpose, happiness and meaning in the present. It introduces the Japanese term ikigai which is the reason we get out of bed each day and which we live for.

The book looks at how we may achieve a full and balanced life through purpose, strong relationships, health and present moment awareness. Also it imparts to us the value of being active, of cultivating relationships, to find what we love and to enjoy the small things in life. At Gandhi Rachnatmak Samiti, Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, pride and patriotic spirit. The occasion brought together our respected staff, faculty members and students, who came forward and contributed to making the celebration meaningful and memorable.

The event started with hoisting of Tricolor and national anthem which reflected the spirit of unity and togetherness. Our faculty and staff were present and their presence added to the warmth and significance of the celebration.This day inspired us to remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the values of unity and peace and truth.
