A TED talk is an annual conference held in Monterey, California, with a spirit to propagate “Ideas Worth Spreading” without any political, religious, and racial bias since 1984. In these talks, eminent orators from all over the globe share their ideas on intriguing themes suiting their area of expertise. Each talk is of 18-20 minutes. ‘TEDIndia’ was held in November 2009 in Mysore, India, celebrating and exploring the bright future of South Asia. The speakers included technocrats like Nandan Nilekani, Pranav Mistry; activists like Mallika Sarabhai, Shukla Bose, and politicians like Shashi Tharoor etc.
