🌧️ Clean Drains, Safe Monsoon: It’s Our Collective Responsibility! 🚫💧
Every year, as the monsoon arrives, the streets of Dhanbad face heavy waterlogging, leading to frustrating traffic jams and severe health risks. But did you know that a major cause of this flooding starts with a small act of carelessness?
When plastic bottles, wrappers, or garbage are casually tossed onto the streets, rainwater washes them directly into our city's storm drains. This creates massive underground clogs, trapping the water and forcing it back up onto our roads!
To fix this, we need a two-way approach:
1️⃣ As Citizens: We must completely stop littering the streets and open drains. Always use dustbins to dispose of waste properly.
2️⃣ As Administration: We strongly urge the Dhanbad Municipal Corporation (DMC) to take active command by clearing city drains, desilting outlets, and evacuating public dumping spots before the heavy rains hit.
True change happens when responsible citizens meet an active administration. Let's protect our city's infrastructure and keep Dhanbad clean, safe, and flood-free!
